For The Win All Or Nothing Music Video

FOR THE WIN GIVE “ALL OR NOTHING” IN NEW MUSIC VIDEO
Heavy Thoughts, New Album Available August 25

For The Win have premiered “All Or Nothing”, the latest music video from their forthcoming album, Heavy Thoughts. Alternative Press affirms Heavy Thoughts is “Raw energy and catchy hooks, this is sure to stick in your head in an instant.” Get For The Win’s Heavy Thoughts everywhere on August 25th, 2017.

“’All Or Nothing’ is a phrase that we live by when it comes to this band and where we want to go with it,” vocalist Kyle Christensen adds. “The video’s story represents the challenge between chasing your dreams and letting go of stability that you could easily have at home. We all struggle with letting go, because the unknown can be a terrifying place. We face ourselves in the video and also every day while we work to make the best of these opportunities.”

Upon announcing their signing to Victory Records in May of 2017, FOR THE WIN released videos for the tracks“Crash And Burn” and “Dancing Shoes,” and new tour dates will be announced soon.

SHATTERED SUN UNLEASH NEW VIDEO “HOLLOW CHAINS”
The Evolution Of Anger, New Album Coming July 21

Album Release Show and Warped Tour Dates

With a week away from the release of The Evolution Of Anger, their second album for Victory Records, modern metal trailblazers SHATTERED SUN have unveiled the video ‘Hollow Chains.’ Perfectly outlining the demise of cultural and social consciousness, the video also exhibits the ferociousness SHATTERED SUN are known to deliver on stage.

Watch “Hollow Chains.”

“Everyone hides behind a keyboard nowadays, and ‘Hollow Chains’ is a call for individuals to take back their identity,” prompts SHATTERED SUN vocalist Marcos Leal. “Everyone seems to take their arguments to the digital front and fight unnecessary battles between each other every day. All of a sudden any particular event takes away our identities as human beings and replaces it with a close-minded, cold-hearted dismissal of another person that disagrees. It’s fueling the divide by turning us on each other. Take away unity and replace it with the ‘every man for himself’ attitude, and it creates a hollow chain around us all.”

SHATTERED SUN will channel their fury to the stages beginning with a hometown album release show on July 20 with label-mates DARKNESS DIVIDED, and then joining the 2017 Vans Warped Tour on July 26 outside of St. Louis, MO, and rounding out the tour on its final date in Pomona, CA on August 6. Additional dates supporting The Evolution Of Anger will be announced soon.

The second album by these Philadelphia based melodic punk rockers brings us 11 new songs. Compared to the first album “What We re Missing”, this one brings improvement both musically and lyrically. This time the quintet worked with the producer Kyle Black(State Champs, Handguns, Hit The Lights) in creating a perfect bland of melodic punkrock and alternative rock. Now you will think, wtf this must sound like some soundtrack to Beverly Hills 90210 or Melrose Place, some shitty college rock stuff, but it aint like that at all. After the poweful album opener Let It Rain comes the first highlight of the album Come Undone. Vocalist Collin Walsh sounds more self sure than ever and combined with guest vocals, courtesy of Patty Walters makes a great and melodic anthem. The album is very emotional with songs like acoustic and piano themed Forever Yours and Mum which will make you swim in an endless lake of emotional turmoil. The album is very diverse and it is not boring in any moment. This album is a perfect soundtrack for sunny weekend afternoon and preparing yourself to go for some open air festival fun. I listened and reviewed it like that, and believe me, it was a joy! Top songs: Come Undone, Beautiful Things, Echoes(Carry On).
