I must admit that I have never heard of both bands prior to this split record.
The Anti-Bodies hail from Buffalo and their two songs on this record are examples how melodic horrorpunk should sound. “Operate” is my favorite and “Medication” is also song that makes you wanna hear it again and again. I just love bands whose song melodies haunt your ear long time after you finish listening to the record and you just catch yourself humming the melody over and over again.
Grim Deeds are from California and their two songs are also great melodic pop punk with “In Love With Myself” being my favorite over “Dont Make Me Think” but both songs are catchy and I loved every minute of this split release. It is short but sweet, nothing new or revolutionary, but enjoyable, so give it a go.
