DYING SCENE RECORDS and EFFERVESCENCE RECORDS have just announced that on July 20th they will be co-releasing “Sound The Sirens”, the 4th full-length album from Southern California skate-punk act Chaser.
Sitting firmly between ‘94 NOFX and ‘95 No Use For A Name, this is all-that-is-holy by way of all-that-is-Epifat. Double-time drums, anthemic choruses, and big, sunny SoCal whoa-ohs – on “Sound the Sirens” the band doesn’t just have the sound, they’ve got the songs. Through eleven tracks, you’ll see a band at the top of their songwriting game and you can get yourself a taste by streaming the album‘s first single, “Bonfire,” on bandcamp.
While Dying Scene Records is handling digital distribution, the folks at Effervescence Records are handling vinyl. They are in the process of pressing an LP limited to a run of 150 Snow White Opaque and 150 Clockwork Orange Transparent.
