The Linden Method are a loud and melodic skatepunk band from Chicago, Illinois and this is their new e.p. I listened to the record and reviewed it for this webzine.

The record is a follow up to the last release called “Good Enough” from 2016. As the band says the theme of this record is fear, our fear to stand up for something because we are afraid what will the society say and think of us. This record contains 6 songs of nice melodic punkrock with smart and heartfelt lyrics. The songs are sometimes fast drumming almost hardcore but most of the time they sail in some punkrock waters. The songs that I like the most on this record are “Desensitivity” reminding me somehow of Useless ID in earlier days and of course of No Use For A Name lyrically and musically. “Straight Shot” was awesome with faster first part and the slower, groovier ending. Vocals are sung, almost with a bit crying voice but not emo, the singer´s vocals fit just right in the picture. The song of the record for me is certainly “Obey” an anthem with heart and balls just made for sing along with middle finger raised that we will never obey the restrictions that society puts upon us with an intention to silence our voices. This record is an anthem of spite and heartfelt rebellion! Awesome!
