Today, we’re thrilled to present the first song from the SWINGIN’ UTTERS dynamic new album, Peace and Love. The lead single is called “Human Potential,” and you can take a listen over at Brooklyn Vegan. Peace and Love will hit the streets on August 31st, and you can pre-order it now! Dear fiends and fiendettes, it is time for some psychobilly mixed with punk on the pages of this webzine. Rocker Arms from Holland are veterans of the scene being formed in 1999. and playing with some lineup changes until now. This is their new record which I listened and reviewed for this webzine.
The record contains seven songs of psychobilly mayhem with a lot of punk influences thrown in the song structures for good measure. “Joey” is a melodic song leaning heavily on punky riffs, psychobilly guitar work and nice melodic vocal lines. “Closer to me” is a more of a classic psychobilly song again with nice melodic chorus and some surf influences thrown in. “Free Beer 4 All” also owes more to the band˙s psychobilly roots than to punkrock but it is a very heavy sounding song nonetheless. “Don`t tell me” is a hymn to freedom, not living caged by boundaries and being truely free of conformism. “Dressed in red” starts as a horror psychobilly song with whispered word, thunder and has that old school black and white horror movie vibe. It is for me maybe the best song on this record. “Punk Nr” is just what the title says pure blood punkabilly song, fast and strong instrumental. “28” closes the record in the energetic fast and wrecking psycho style. This is a great record so if you are a fan of such music have a grab on this one!

Fair Do’s are a 4-piece melodic hardcore band from Manchester, known for their incendiary combination of punk and metal, rooted in exceptional technical skill. Driven by a strong DIY ethos, they’ve established a dedicated following around Europe and have supported legends like After The Fall, A Wilhelm Scream, Frenzal Rhomb and H20.
Their first full-length, ‘Leopards’, is an adrenaline-loaded collision of hardcore punk and metal, rooted in tight, technical talent. Their astute, political lyrics cover topics as diverse as wealth distribution, foreign policy and the monarchy. That said, Fair Do’s hold onto their renowned Northern wit, also casting their sights on Noel Edmonds and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
