About Alone I Walk:

Bringing a wide range of energetic and hooky rhythms to their sound, Alone I Walk ties together a strong and emotive vocal delivery by frontman/guitarist François Courcelles, while his brother Pascal (drums/vocals) lends his impactful harmonies to their sound both live and on record. Signing to Los Angeles based label Anchor Eighty Four during the winter of 2019, Alone I Walk traveled to Los Angeles shortly after, tapping producer Johnny Liu (In Her Own Words, Slaves, Slowtrip) to help elevate the demos they had written for their label debut in a way that none of them could have imagined. Being a duo, Franky and Pascal played every instrument and sung every line on the new EP themselves bringing and unmatched cohesive sound to each song that only two people truly connected could have achieved.

(record review) Minus Youth-No Generation

Minus Youth are releasing their debut full length. I listened and reviewed the record for our zine.

MINUS-YOUTH_NO-GENERATION_Cover_HiRes-300dpi-RGB

Formed at the end of 2016. these guys from Stuttgart are in no way strangers on the hardcore scene cause they have been playing in other bands prior to this one. Minus Youth plays hardcore, European school, leaning heavily on 90-ies hardcore like Rykers, Brightside, Right Direction but also to the NYHC school of hardcore, the singer sounds in many songs like Lou Koller from Sick Of It All. The music is aggressive street hardcore, yet remaining catchy in some parts. I love the faster, more straight forward stuff like Nothing, but also slower and more Earth Crisis-like rolling songs, for example Homeaway. This is hardcore that we used to call new school when we were kids in the 90-ies, now that is old school as my friend likes to say. Anyway, this record is a must for all you fans of metalic hardcore punk with street vibe and get this one, for sure you will mosh to the songs of Minus Youth.

Based out of West Palm Beach FL, Seven Fly is a 4-piece Pop Punk band with an upbeat, nostalgic taste that brings energy to every show. With danceable, high energy songs, Seven Fly tears down the house with circle pits, moshing, fans bouncing to every anthem!
The newest single from the band, titled “Fever”, is out now on major streaming platforms! On this new song, vocalist Levi Ruiz comments:
The roots of the song started when over a period of time, you start to find that despite what all logic and clear signs around you may tell you, your gut feeling tends to be right.
The mind is a powerful thing, and when it comes to relationships, important life choices, or day-to-day actions, your gut feeling and own instincts are a good thing to follow especially if you often prove yourself right.
I ended up writing this Anthem to remind me to trust myself in the deepest and most difficult times, despite when others try to tell me different.
