Booze & Glory are back with their new e.p. This band was based in London and they declare themselves still to be from London, I think, but they are international crew that plays great melodic oi street punk with a touch of skate punk and hardcore in the songs. Some older fans don´t like the band´s turn to more melodic side of things in their last two full length albums, but I love it, especially the last album from 2019. Anyway, here are the four new songs. The title song is my personal favorite being a generic and hard hitting hardcore anthem in the lyrics and great melodic oi street punk song in the music. I listened to this one every day when they released it as a single prior to this e.p. Betrayed is a fast song about defiance, showing middle finger against the odds and living your way and never stop believing, reminding me why I love this not music, but lifestyle so much. C’est la vie is a slower, more punk rock oriented song about how life is short and how me must learn to live it the best we can. Great lyrics, guitar melody and singing along chorus for this one too. The Streets I Call My Own is a strong finisher and who is not touched by the lyrics of this band and songs is not into hardcore. I have been in this for thirty years now and still enjoy and get goosebumps with songs like this e.p. Can´t wait for the new full length.

SEVENTH ANNIVERSARY OF KRAYKULLA WEBZINE!
Tomorrow marks the seventh anniversary of the unholy inception of Kraykulla Webzine from my mind. This is and has always been a one man operation, with help by some individuals from time to time. It is going to stay that way further on.
You also might have noticed that I wiped out my personal Facebook profile, also Kraykulla Webzine Facebook page because I don´t really believe in social media as a means of promoting music, underground ideals and our way of life. This zine continues its journey and dwells in the underground where it really belongs. Clicks and likes on social media is NOT music, is not the scene, is not promoters, bands or anything but attention grabbing whores. They don´t deserve to be and are not part of the underground scene, nor they will ever be.
So, thanks to all you creatures who support, read, communicate with me via e-mail, thanks to all the bands, agencies, labels and worthy individuals and friends throughout all the years. We continue, we are strong and we are above all.

About the band:
Downstater is a punk rock quartet hailing straight from Québec City (Canada). Melding the essence of rock music with punk rawness, this melodic achievement exhibits the trail of a spirited and raging youth with words expressed without compromise. While the songs deal with nostalgia, anger and resentment, the band’s introspective writing reveals a will to give sense to all these aches and wounds in order to live, not to say survive. Bringing back honest music to the forefront, Downstater is an illustrative collection of melancholy-fueled indie rock songs pouring with emotion and integrity.
