(review) Hey Disarray – ‘Unfinished Story’

Hey Disarray are coming from Orange County, California and this is their first EP containing 6 songs. First think I thought while listening to vocals on first song ‘Dance With Me’ was that vocals reminded me a lot of Croatian band called Fraktura Mozga. Musically, they are also similar. Hey Disarray play melodic pop punk, uplifting melodies topped with nice vocals and some keyboard background in there thrown in for good measure, or am I imagining? This band is pop punk par excellence sounding just how excellent pop punk should sound like. Lyrics are great and I think that I can relate to lot of themes in there like love, loss of love, relationship, friendship, broken hearts, hope….One of my personal favorites on this record is the title song because it is straightforward pop punk song with beautiful chorus and melody, harmonies on backing vocals and superb lyrics. The musicianship on this record is tight and and production is great listening. Other songs that are stand out for me on this little EP are ‘Meet Me There’ and ‘Good At Letting Go’, but EP as a whole is worth your listening because this is superb songwriting.

Noumena 25 years and The Last Tour of Kursk – Co-headlining gig in On The Rocks, Helsinki, Finland 12th of Jan 2024

Veterans of Finnish melodic death metal, Noumena shall put on a show and celebrate their 25th anniversary at On The Rocks, Helsinki, Finland in January. Co-headliner of the evening is doom unit Kursk, on their last tour. Tickets available now!

Noumena – hailing from Ähtäri, Finland – celebrate their quarter-century milestone with a special gig. The band shall offer a comprehensive overview on their career and back catalogue, including some surprises! Noumena have released six albums, digi EP and several singles during their career. Besides Europe, they have toured in Japan and China. The current line-up includes the original quintet from 1998 reinforced with Ähtäri-bred musicians Suvi Uura and Markus Hirvonen. Noumena shall hit the stage with all guns blazing, so join the feast in January! After the anniversary gig Noumena shall focus on recording new material and return to venues with a new album only by the end of 2024.


Kypck (or Kursk in western typography) is a Finnish heavy metal band heading to their last tour. The band released their fifth album “Prestupleniya protiv chelovechestva (Crimes Against Humanity)” in August, which went straight to number one on the official Finnish physical album sales chart for the second time in the band’s history. The album will also be the last for the Russian singing band. Over the years, Kypck has toured the East all the way to Siberia and has become known not only for its rusty sound, but also for its spectacular live shows and eccentric musicianship. With the release of his last album Kypck plays their very last shows.
