Chugger are proud to unveil the cover and the first track “Turning Point” from their upcoming blasting album “Of Man And Machine”.

“Of Man And Machine” will be out on 24/04/2020 via Wormholedeath/ The Orchard.

“Come Armageddon!

Swedish groove death metal combo CHUGGER has once again worked together with the renowned Studio Fredman (Dimmu Borgir, Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames to name a few) to produce CHUGGER’s sophomore full length album. The dystopian themed OF MAN AND MACHINE is served on a thick bed of guitars, knee breaking bass and bone crushing vocals, all built upon a rhythm foundation that takes absolutely no prisoners! Artwork and full color booklet created by The Iron Parasite (Stephen Lindsay).

OF MAN AND MACHINE is scheduled for release on April 24th under WormHoleDeath, and you are currently listening to an exclusive preview of ‘Turning Point’ – the opening track on the album. What a glorious day!”

Block Parent and Frank Dux announce split LP – Grand River Transplit

Canadian skatepunk units Block Parent and Frank Dux are thrilled to announce the release on May 1st of “Grand River Transplit”. Available on colored/splattered vinyl, the 8-track album features on the A side Block Parent’s “Take Off Your Pants And Jack Off” EP, while on the B side, Frank Dux’s “Concessions” EP.

The bands from Cambridge, ON are joining forces with Thousand Islands Records, Pink Lemonade Records and Ends Meat Label? for the physical release. Pre-orders are available now via Thousand Islands Records’ Canadian and USA webstores, where the songs “Grade8.angelfire.tripod/geocities.cjb.net” and “Wuddup Todd” can be streamed as a preview.

A release show will take place on May 1st at Rhythm and Brews in Cambridge, ON, with both EPs hitting the digital store shelves on the same day.

New Mecanica Unleash “Children of the Sun” (Dead Can Dance Cover) Song and Video!

New Mecanica has a new song to start 2020. CHILDREN OF THE SUN by Dead Can Dance was the track chosen to cover. Daniel Cardoso (Anathema), with whom the band had worked with on their first album in 2008, mixed and mastered the final product.

 

“New Mecanica decided to start the year with new and free music for anyone who wants to listen. We had been wanting to work on a cover song for some time, but we couldn’t decide which one. Then, the opportunity came along to work on a cover of CHILDREN OF THE SUN by Dead Can Dance, a song with which we identified immediately. We were very happy with what we were able to come up with and gave it our own personal touch. It is a Dead Can Dance song but with a New Mecanica feel. We hope you like it as much as we do!”
