F.U.A. are proud to introduce their new guitar player Ray!

Band statement:

“We met Ray through a co-worker, (funny how life works) and we immediately liked the guy! His sense of humor and dedication to music is exactly what we like in F.U.A. So it was an easy choice for us to ask him to be our new guitarist.

We are so happy F.U.A. has transformed from a 4-piece band to a 5-piece band again! Ray is going to have his debut on stage with us on the 7th of February and has been working very hard the last couple of weeks to learn the set!”

Ray stated:

“I joined the band a month ago, because I was looking for a punkband that had a little bit experience. So my friend told me about how his co-workers were part of F.U.A. and that they recorded a great album with WormholeDeath two years ago!

So for me it has been a nice challenge to learn all these great songs before our next gig. I hope we will give some great shows in 2020 and to begin working on new songs for our next record. The band now has an extra guitarist and I’m curious what kind of new music this will create”. – Ray

F.U.A. released their debut “Socially Transmitted Disease” in 2018 via Wormholedeath Records.

(review) Amitié/Karloff-Split single(No Funeral Records)

a2691951792_10No Funeral Records decided to treat us with their new short, but sweet release. Two songs, two bands. Amitié song is pure blasting hardcore punk with screaming vocals called A Love Letter and Karloff song The Dead Will Walk The Earth is screamo hardcore punk, but kinda bit more atmospheric and deeper, ranging from unbridled aggression to dreamlike ending of the song. Great little split record!

(review) Anti-Flag-20/20 Vision

cover

Anti-Flag are back with new batch of politically charged anthems fighting with everyone and everything again in their lyrics. I saw them play live and I can safely say these guys deliver one of the most energetic, most intense cathartic live shows I have ever seen on a punk gig. But, somehow through all these last years their albums started to sound all the same to me, too similar, good package, but only one or two really outstanding songs, the rest being average rehash of their earlier hits. These new songs are continuation of where the band went with last couple of records, melodic sing along songs with dual vocals, courtesy of Justin and Chris, raging against injustice and political oppression, racism and all the themes that are unfortunately so actual today. But, there is that feeling again in me, that the album is great, superb punkrock, but doesn`t stay in mind for too long. This is great punkrock, but apart from songs like title track, Christian Nationalist or Unbreakable, there is nothing else to remember this record by. That doesn` t mean that it is bad, quite the contrary, Anti-Flag delivered again a great record in their ongoing fight.
