Read on for the statement:
We are stoked and honored to release Lost In Lifes’s debut album ‘Beyond the Compass of Human Understanding’ on CD/Digital. Thise masterpiece will hit the stores on Friday, June 14.  In times when people just need to have the most popular status symbols and to follow the latest trends… the music and the message is taking a back seat. Most bands and hardcore kids forget what it’s all about. That’s where “Lost in Life” comes in. Lost in Life were formed during a cold winter night at the end of 2016. Four friends connected by their love and passion for heavy music.
A fresh and talented band that works hard and is ready to take the crown of “European Hardcore” scene. This band is one of the few who piss on all hardcore trends… No clean “Sing Sang” vocals with boring breakdowns… straightforward, angry, emotional and uncompromising metal influenced hardcore with a strong political message that stands for antifascismn and equal rights for all human beeings.
If you love bands like “Get The Shot”, “Have Heart” or “Verse” you will eat this band like a piece of chocolate. Stage dives, sing alongs and high fives with a strong metal influence.

(news-tour update) Wolfrik & The Affect Heuristic Kick Off 3-Week European Tour

0efd971a-0394-466c-8cdd-70798be20ce6

Following the international release of their EP ‘Skeleton City’ on lurid pink vinyl earlier this year, Lockjaw Records’ latest skate-punk proteges Wolfrik are kicking off a 3-week European tour this week. They’ll be joined on the road by Scottish/Belgian melodic hardcore thrashers The Affect Heuristic.

The tour kicks off in Portsmouth and London, before a revered slot at Manchester Punk Festival, then Gloucester and Kent. They’ll then hop on a ferry to take in venues across Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany and Italy, before rounding off the trip with an appearance at SBAM Fest in Austria.  Wolfrik have exploded onto the punk scene, delivering an irresistible concoction of punk, metal and thrash. Complex yet catchy, melodic yet heavy: this band is nothing short of a good time. Their EP ‘Skeleton City’ is charged with fast riffs and galvanizing rock vocals that will instantly grab your attention and take you for a ride.

Wolfrik have previously played with the likes of Protest The Hero, Black Dahlia Murder, Belvedere and A Wilhelm Scream, and have made an instant impression on everyone’s who’s heard them.

The Affect Heuristic are equally ready to take the European skate-punk scene by storm. Taking influence from a diverse range of sources, ranging from classic EpiFat acts to their friends’ bands, from tech metal and pop punk, they have created a unique sound that’s as heavy as it catchy.

They bring to the table a wealth of experience from previous bands, including members of A Hero Build, Terrafraid, No Contest, Fair Do’s, Dead Neck to name a few.

(record review)RESPIRO NOCIVO-Sepolti Nel Buio

Respiro Nocivo are ska core band from Vicenza, Italy and they recently released their new e.p. and I listened and reviewed it for our zine.

RN - Sepolti Nel Buio (Front)

I must say that I am totally fan of Italian language as singing language in punk songs. I love how Italian has that melodic vibe and fits perfectly into melodic punk and ska songs of awesome Italian bands. Respiro Nocivo have been in the scene since 2009. This time, they offer 5 songs on this record. They play melodic punk with ska core influences and beautiful anthemic choruses made for singing along although I am not fluent in Italian and jumping all around, smiling and hugging brothers and sisters around me. I love how saxophone passes perfectly in La Mia Crew, for me total highlight of this record with awesome back vocal harmonies, the singer´s voice fits perfectly into this music. Also, my other total favorite is the title track, I still get the goosebumps when I remember the fast verses, hymnic chorus, sax and guitar work. This is great record! Go find out yourself!
