German rock trio Untamed release first full-length album via “Hicktown-Records“

Untamed! With their self titled hard rock debut album, the full-power trio promises aggressive sounds and energetic rock ballads. Versatile, multifaceted and catchy. That is what makes Untamed so special. Lyrically, the 10 songs move between the “fun of life” and the “rock n’ roll lifestyle”. But the band also talks about more serious topics such as grief and love.

It took a lot of time, hard work and sleepless nights in advance, to have a precisely conception and to set the first big milestone of Untamed. Through the production, the band hopes to become an international rock act.

FLOYA announce debut album & release new single ‘Drift’

FLOYA have announced their debut album Yume, due for release on 8th March via Arising Empire. The band have also released a video for their new single ‘Drift’.

‘Drift’ is filled with genre-bending moments and conveys a clear message: do what you love, there’s not enough time for anything else. The duo elevate listeners with powerful, airy synths, Marv’s romantic guitar riffs, and Phil’s unmistakable, angelic voice.

“I don’t think I’ve ever written a song this honest before,” says vocalist Phil. “I’ve grappled with ambivalent emotions toward my career, to be completely transparent. There were moments when I doubted whether I could continue doing what I love. I turned my back on music for a while and, as a result, lost a significant part of my identity. ‘Drift’ is about precisely that: dealing with ambivalence, overcoming doubts, and enabling you to continue doing what you love.”

Hailing from Germany, Marv Wilder and Phil Bayer found common ground by talking about their childhood influences, namely Peter Gabriel, U2 & Sting.

Since the release of their debut single ‘Wonders’ in March 2022, FLOYA have amassed over eight million streams on Spotify alone. Their single ‘The Hymn’ was featured in an official AFL game between Port Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs on Australian television; an impressive achievement for a newly launched act. FLOYA have also received significant airplay from Kerrang! Radio (UK) and Radio Contact (BE).

BC’s THE HAPTICS Capturing the Berlin Beat With ‘Bodies’ Unveils the Euphoria and Inner Struggles of Collective Rhythms from Their Newest EP Zero Gravity.

Bodies – These lyrics were inspired by a night that Jin had dancing in Berlin at a party called Herrensauna, at Tresor. Getting swept up in the momentum of a crowd, dancing, is such a powerful thing – we wanted to capture that dynamic, as well as the opposing nature of individuals getting caught up in their head with repetitive thoughts and thinking. That push and pull between being part of a crowd and feeling imprisoned by your body and mind inspired this song. – The Haptics
