Movment creates music, sounds, and noise that is straightforward, and they tell it like it is. They use drums, bass, guitars, synths, and tools that excite them. Atmosphere, turbulence, and truthfulness are at the heart of what they do.
Movment consist of Martin Kelly (Vocals, Drums, Words), Kevin Kelly (Guitars, Bass, Keyboards, Synths, Programming, Words), Mark Kelly (Bass) and Isabella Rowden Kelly (Guitars).
Just three weeks after their last release, VELVET CHAINS has made their newest single, “Eyes Closed,” available on all digital platforms. The song is a modern power ballad that touches upon themes of indulgence, fixation, self-obsession and anguish. Released on October 4th on the band’s official YouTube channel and on October 5th on all streaming platforms, the single delivers some of the band’s best work thanks to the extraordinary production work by talented writer/producer duo THE HEAVY (YUNGBLUD, LOVELYTHEBAND, ENRIQUE INGLESIAS), and the immaculate mixing & mastering done by industry top brass JOSHUA WILBUR (KORN, LAMB OF GOD, AVENGED SEVENFOLD).
The single has a vividly crafted and deeply artistic music video, filmed and directed by JULIAM OYAMEDEL (NITA STRAUSS, BLACK VEIL BRIDES, IN FLAMES), an up & coming prodigy within the music film industry. The video also features the jaw-dropping acrobatics of renowned aerialist PRISCILLA SOMOGIE, who steals the show thanks to her gravity-defying, intensely passionate performance. RO VIPER, the band’s front-man, comments: “The beauty within this passionately dark video stems from the contrasts you are presented with; on one hand you have temptation in the form of a beautiful woman, while on the other you can feel the suffering portrayed throughout the lyrics and the music”.
VELVET CHAINS emerged on the scene in 2018, and soon attracted attention for their energetic music with deep meanings, bringing new life to the contemporary rock scene. In 2023, they carried out a successful South American tour, in which they played as open act for STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and TTHE WINERY DOGS, in addition to having a remarkable performance at the Summer Breeze Brasil festival, alongside giants such as SEPULTERA, LAMB OF GOD and SKID ROW, among others.
“Eyes Closed” is the band’s third release this year, and features the current lineup of: RO VIPER (vocals), NILS GOLDSCHMIDT (bass), BURTON CAR and LAHI CASSIANO (guitars), and JASON HOPE (drums).

Kantautor, multiinistrumentalni glazbenik i dobri duh domaće alternativne scene IDEM obilježit će kraj godine prvim velikim samostalnim koncertom koji će se održati u petak 8. prosinca u Vintage Industrialu u sklopu promocije albuma „POYY”.
„Ovo je uistinu onaj „The album” labuđeg pjeva mladosti kojem će se slušatelji uvijek rado vraćati jer je uhvatio najbitnije esencije. A opet, poučeni iskustvom drugih koji su uspjeli zauvijek zalediti taj moment u zvučnoj slici, ovakvi albumi su neponovljivi. Već po reakcijama slušatelja na najavne singlove „ŠtetaŠtetaŠteta”, „Potopi ovaj brod”, „Par put godišnje” i „Žujice” bilo je jasno kako će album „POYY” imati snažnu bazu obožavatelja, no uz hvaljeno debitantsko izdanje IDEM se brojnim nastupima diljem zemlje u zavidno kratkom roku istaknuo i kao koncertna atrakcija godine. IDEM će na svom prvom velikom samostalnom koncertu naglasak staviti na pjesme s albuma „POYY”, ali će publika imati prilike čuti i nove singlove koji su nastali u međuvremenu, a još nisu službeno predstavljeni javnosti.
Album „POYY” je objavljen u suradnji diskografskih kuća JeboTon, Mudri Brk i Nasty Cut Records i trenutno je dostupan u CD formatu (možete ga kupiti direktno od Antuna) i digitalno putem svih streaming servisa.
IDEM je samostalni projekt Antuna Alekse, trombonista bendova Porto Morto i JeboTon Ansambl te gitarista i pjevača benda Trophy Jump. U posve novom izričaju Antun s bitter-sweet notom dotiče sve njemu važne teme kroz pjesme zamišljene da prvenstveno budu hit samome autoru, a potom potencijalno i široj publici.
