A mixture of Emo, Punk and Rock-Elements that is inspired by the Sound between 2000 and 2010. A variety of sound and style-fragments merged into wonderful Punkrock songs. Whilst vocals and guitars are almost surrounding you from every side, providing harmonies and rocking tunes, the rhythm group pushes forward - a groove that let's you dance, kick and scream like there's no tomorrow! First influences were NOFX, Millencolin, Samiam, Jimmy Eat World, TFP and Unwritten Law - later they some more EMO styled bands like Hawthorne Heights and Taking back sunday..... The Band 20 Days Dull exists for more than 15 years and is still going. The 3 have found their love to music already in young ages and have always kept improving their abilities and horizon. Influenced by Rock and Punk Rock the idea of a band was born. The founder and singer (Marco) was from the moment of starting the band - and still is - like the glue that keeps everything together, preserving the dream, whilst fighting to achieve a place in the music environment was always part of his everyday striving and struggling to get his message out to the world. Throughout all these years he never gave up - no matter what happened. Long time overdue... 2008 - The decision was made. An album should be recorded. With lots of love for the details and a nonetheless grand amount of madness the plan succeeded. After a lot of sweat, big hassles and some nearly nervous breakdowns the album was finished at the start of 2014. Somehow you could say the album reflects those last 15 years of band history. You can hear and feel the musical influences of all those involved in the process, as well as all those special moments that went into the long production of theirs debut-album "What Would You Say". As of the content this album deals with morality, and those little things between humans every day that finally matter so much. If you listen closely the album has to tell a lot. It is not political. It runs deeper and asks, why humans are more and more losing those old values as respect, empathy and helpfulness, which we learned as children. Evolution... The band had to undergo some changes in all these years. Some left, others joined and carried over those ideals and music the band presents. Marco the dyed-in-the-wool band leader now has found in Mike and Jens such musically nerdy members as himself. The new album is in progress which will have as well somme of this nostalgic moments and feelings as it will have a much more positive vibe with lots of new musical aspects adopted by the band over the years. What remains is the love for the small details and the undaunted will to continueo walking on a not so easy way. 2020 Back to live... The year started quite good with support Gigs in Germany and a short trip to PERU just the last few days before live music ENDED.(CUSCO 13.03. and LIMA 14.03.20) As a consequence of the developments the band focused more on the works for their new album (planned for middle of 2022) as well as another 3 Song EP which will gap the time inbetween. Hopes are to get back touring along with the release of the new album in the middle of 2022 - if there will be any live opportunities left ?! 20 Days Dull Emo - Punk - Rock from Southwest Germany Song: Best Friend A song for all that have ever been stuck in the "friend"-zone and had to watch their crush fell in love with another one. # Beeing the "best friend" (Video release on Youtube, September 30th 2021) - The first glimpse on the new album that is set for middle of 2022. - November 2021 to February 2022 will appear another 3-Song EP to reduce the waiting time. www.20DaysDull.de / info@20DaysDull.de

(review) The Baseballs – Hot Shots

Germany´s The Baseballs are back with new album. Although I am not usually an avid fan of cover bands there are couple of exceptions from that rule. The Baseballs are one of them. Yes, they play covers of famous hits but they do it in doo wop and rockabilly version, so melodic and sooo good. Vocals are phenomenal and this music, in this renditions takes you back in time to the times when you wore a knife in your boot and were ready to fight with another guys for your favorite rock music. There are fourteen songs on this album, they are all fantastic, but my personal favorites are Rock Me Amadeus, Forever Young, Jump and Paradise City. Awesome new album!
(review) No Guidance – Fireworks for Arsonists

No Guidance are punk rock band from Germany and this is their debut full length album. There are 11 songs on this beauty. The music of No Guidance can be described as fast paced, energetic melodic punk rock with lots of skate punk and hardcore influences. I love how this record sounds a bit rawer than others production wise. Also, I love the use of hardcore influenced gang backing vocals in some of the songs. Although the music is raw melodic hardcore punk it retains enough melody to be enjoyed by any punks who love their punk rock melodic and made to sing along, also I heard couple of really melancholic guitar melodies and hooks. Main vocals are raspy and raw but melodic at the same time and I can only imagine how these songs sound live. Hopefully I am gonna see them one day playing on stage. Lyrics are special story. So good, so smart and at the same time understandable to all of us. Fine mix of politics watched from the ordinary person´s point of view. My personal favorites are How To Pronounce Metrocity, Anything But A Friend, Better Days.
Great debut album.
