TLDOJ are hailing from Bratislava, Slovakia and this is their new release, which I listened and reviewed for our zine.

This single contains 2 songs. The music of TLDOJ is a mixture of graveyard horror goth rock and punkrock, packed in one very pleasent song structure. Oh No…is a dancable gothic punkrock dark hit with the chorus melody that leaves you humming long after the song finishes playing. It kind of reminds me of more punky and more gothic version of Joy Division, don˙t ask me why. The World Without Me was even better, the song sounds cheerful but is in fact very dark and somber with great melody and catchy chorus. This is a great band if you love such music. Check it out!

DEAD GIRLS ACADEMY have premiered their latest visual masterpiece ‘Everything,’ taken from their debut Alchemy. The album hit shelves tomorrow as the band prepare for the their second jaunt on the Vans Warped Tour starting next week, June 21, outside their L.A. hometown in Pomona, CA.

“Many times in my life I’ve been made to feel a lesser person, been told I’m a freak and spoken about negatively just because that person didn’t understand what I was about,” admits vocalist Michael Orlando. “There are so many different types of people in this world, however nobody is better than the other. ‘Everything’ points to the fact that we are all human and I strongly believe we should all have equal respect. It took many years for me to build a solid wall between these sorts of comments and people. When Ronnie (Radke) and I sat down to write, we wanted to speak truths and the truth is not always full of cherries. I want people to understand you’re not alone in this world. Hate is a low vibration and one that can be destroyed by understanding.”

Written and Produced by Ronnie Radke, Michael Orlando

Engineered by Tyler Smith

Mixed by Elvis Baskette
