Eternal Returns Drops ‘Ravenous Shores: Whispers of the Quarantine Island’ lyric video!

Metal enthusiasts, prepare yourselves for a spine-tingling journey as Eternal Returns, the ferocious Indian Metal band, reveals their captivating lyric video for ‘Ravenous Shores: Whispers of the Quarantine Island.‘ This haunting track is a captivating glimpse into the dark history of Poveglia, a small island in Italy shrouded in tales of plague, isolation, and eerie legends.

Derived from their highly anticipated upcoming album, ‘Hunchback Hatred,‘ Eternal Returns delves into the chilling legacy of Poveglia, a place that has left an indelible mark on the annals of history. Poveglia, once a quarantine station during the devastating plague outbreaks in Venice from the 14th to the 18th century, served as a refuge for those seeking isolation from the deadly diseases of the time. Its reputation as a desolate island filled with suffering and despair continues to captivate imaginations to this day.

Poveglia’s sinister narrative takes another terrifying twist as it transforms into a mental hospital in the early 20th century. Infamous for its alleged mistreatment of patients, the hospital was shrouded in rumors of cruel experiments and lobotomies, leaving behind a lingering negative energy that sparked numerous paranormal legends and stories of hauntings. Today, Poveglia Island stands abandoned and inaccessible to the public, earning its reputation as one of Italy’s most haunted places.

Eternal Returns, comprised of Narendra Patel on vocals and lyrics, Harsh Makwana on lead and rhythm guitars, bass, and Viktor Lytvynov on drums, brings this chilling tale to life through their uncompromising musical prowess.

(news – new video) Death metallers from India released new single and video!

Thirst of Faust is a Death Metal band all the way from Kolkata, India. Keeping storytelling in the forefront, the band tries to incorporate technical guitarworks mixed with heavy grooves and powerful drumming. Musically experimental, the band strives to bring together emotional, yet brutal music and folklore appealing to both metal enthusiasts and as well as those who appreciate the lore of music. The newest track “Aftermath“, which follows the sophomore track “Mephisto” presents brutal dark torment, heard through the music of the band itself. Aiming to take the listeners on a sonic adventure through literature and periods, the band released “Mephisto” which marked the beginning of an epic interpretation of the ever famous tale of Faustus by Goethe. The upcoming single “Aftermath” dots the conclusion of the epiphany faced by Faustus from the perspective of the band, delving deep into a mind riddled with schizophrenia. “Aftermath” recreates the troubled mind through uncanny guitars and erratic vocals from the entire band.

Through their music, Thirst of Faust batters the listener both musically and lyrically, blast beats set the pace for epic lyrics presented in both guttural and clean fashion that focus on relatable situations. The band shares their process:”After developing the frightening tale of the rise to power of Faust in “Mephisto”, “Aftermath” depicts the downfall of our protagonist in physical, emotional and mental aspects.

Each song acts as a chapter in our musical story. The lyrics represent personal events and emotions and then we wrap these experiences through our eerie music”.

“It’s amuch-awaited conclusion to an epic tale!” – Robby Dutta (Vocalist)Atmospheric and driving, the medley of blast beats, chugging bass, and heavily distorted solos will be both intense and immersive. Thirst of Faust is recommended for fans of Alkaloid, Alluvial, Death and Cynic (Progressive/Technical Death Metal in general).
