Letters To Nowhere is second full length opus by Riga, Latvia based punks Have No Heroes. This one is a keeper. There are intro plus twelve songs of fast and nineties influenced melodic skate punk/hardcore on this one. What differs this band from many others are smartly written politically themed lyrics that delve into personal, but if you read between the lines you will find out so much more about situation today and relate to dealing with it through every day life and learn you are not alone in this constant struggle and feel somehow consoled and beautiful about it at the same time. Songs are fast and having such sweet melodies that make you wanna go to pit and smile at the same time. Vocals are fantastic, I love every single line, backing harmonies and vocals are so fantastic. My personal favorites are Letters To Nowhere, Funeral Of The Genre, Divide And Conquer but you will have to find for yourself your personal favorites on this beautiful record.

(record review)HAVE NO HEROES-Plastic World
Have No Heroes are relatively new band and they just released their new album. I listened and reviewed it for our zine.

The band was formed in 2016., they are hailing from Riga, Latvia and playing punkrock/skatepunk. There is intro plus eleven songs on this record. The music of this band has that melancholic, cold and grey touch in the songs, like cold waves of the sea and sunshine mixed altogether. The music is fast, melodic hardcore punk and it reminds me of a mixture between Satanic Surfers and Pennywise. The songs like Not Gonna Fall Today and What˙s Wrong With Us have that melancholic note I felt, but also give you hardcore strength and the inner will to continue fighting. One thing that I must put above all the rest on this album are beautiful vocals. I just love how the singer sounds and the guy has a wonderful voice and the backing vocal harmonies are nice too. Other songs that stand out in my opinion are Promises, Skin And Bones. Awesome job, awesome record! 8/10
