This is Core is pleased to present the new DRY YOUR EYES video, “Uranos”, premiered on Ghost Killer Entertainment, which anticipates the release of “Cardinals” on March 15th on all the most important digital platforms.

“The different songs of our EP have been conceived starting from a technical writing of the instrumental, with a precise target of listeners in mind.
For Uranós, this is not valid.The starting point for this song was the theme related to the universe , to the sense of freedom but also to the fear that infuses deep and infinite space (Uranós is the ancient Greek word for heaven).
We started from a feeling, from an atmosphere, but above all from the idea of ​​a video with contrasting emotions, comparing simple daily life actions to the magnificence and grandeur of the sky.”

(new video)MODERNTEARS’ – LISTEN THE NEW SINGLE “I’M LEAVING”

MODERNTEARS’ second single “I’m Leaving” has been published on Dreambound’s YouTube channel. The song follows on from the previous single “Wasting Away” which has been very popular with the public – the video has reached more than 100,000 views on YouTube.

This is what the Italian Modern / MelodicHC band had to say about it: “This track is related to the previous single ‘Wasting Away’, but in this track, the protagonist has become more aware of his value. The strong feeling of emptiness has been replaced by a more positive will to change, even if some demons have not yet been put to bed. This is a goodbye to the worst and the darkest days, desperately shouting that things are finally coming to an end. ‘I’m Leaving’ is a journey through melancholy and regrets”.

“I’m Leaving” is available in every digital store and on Antigony Records’ Bandcamp page.

The band is currently working on their debut album, which is predicted to be ready for release by the end of the year.

(record review)SUNTRACE-“Skate Fast Eat Ass”(Melodic Punk Style)

I rarely hear some band from Finland playing melodic skatepunk hardcore and Suntrace are playing just that.

“Skate Fast Eat Ass” is their new record that came out on Melodic Punk Style Records. There are 8 songs on the record and what I like about it is that this band sounds like all the bands I loved in the 90-ies when I was a kid and that I love still right now. This means fast forward melodic hardcore punk without modern influences, only melody and energy with some melodrama thrown in for good measure and also some tounge in cheek humour. All of the songs are short and sweet and it is tough for me to say which one are my favourites but I will try. That would be “Idiotpond”, “For You” and “Possessions”. This album offers nothing new and revolutionary but that is just what I like about it. Cool.
