We already featured awesome Croatian melodic punk band Fajrunt from Varaždin in this webzine.
They just released their brand new video for “Predstava”, in my opinion the best song from their current album with the same title meaning “The Show” in Croatian.
Check out the video, get both of their full length albums and support the guys, I know it would mean a lot to them!
Fullerton, CA punk/power pop trio Odd Robot have dropped a new single titled “” off their upcoming new album, “Amnesiatic,” due out August 3rd on SoCal-based Wiretap Records.
Odd Robot last released their debut LP “A Late Night Panic” in 2017 that triggered comparisons to Midwest staple bands like The Smoking Popes, Alkaline Trio, but with a West Coast flare.
Taking shape in early 2017, Odd Robot consists of former members of The Maxies, Longfellow, and more. Blending power-pop melodies with raucous guitar driven hooks, the Orange County-based power pop/punk act has been up and down the coast and recently been sharing the stage with the likes of Red City Radio, The Bombpops, Bad Cop Bad Cop, Samiam, The Beautiful Mistake, Raquet Club, Gameface, and The Smoking Popes.
Odd Robot is Andy Burris (guitars + vocals), Mike Doherty (bass), and Damian Monroy (drums).
Chaser from South California is a newer melodic punk band that quickly became one of my new favorite bands. I listened on repeat over and over again the songs from the upcoming full length album “Sound the sirens” on DYING SCENE RECORDS & EFFERVESCENCE RECORDS
Now, Chaser premiered the new lyric video for “Let it die”, the first Chaser track to feature dueling lead vocals between singer Mike LeDonne and bassist Jesse Stopnitzky and believe me, it is a killer combination of both melodic and powerhouse voices mixed with energetic punk rebelious song.
The band said this about the song:
“A few random facts about “Let It Die”: 1) Our album title, “Sound the Sirens” is derived from the chorus. 2) This is the first time CHASER has featured another band member in a shared lead vocal role. 3) While tracking the drums in the studio, we continued to speed up the tempo faster and faster until we felt it reflected our level of aggression and frustration, while maintaining its mid-tempo rocking spirit.”
Watch and listen:
The track will appear on Chaser’s upcoming album “Sound The Sirens” due out digitally through Dying Scene Records (pre-order) and physically through Effervescence Records (pre-order) on July 20th.
