Bottlekids are from Wales and this is their brand new e.p. out with mighty SBÄM Records who are for sure European punk rock number one record label right now! What have we here? This one contains six songs. The music of Bottlekids is fast and energetic punk rock with harsher vocals but armed with nice melodies and harmonies. The guitar work is awesome and drums smartly balance between faster and more aggressive song parts and slower more melodic hooks and bridges. Lyrics are personal and deal with surviving in this world, hope and life which we all must live the best that we can to our abilities. One of my personal favorites is Already Dead having such nice melody and lyrics whose combination brought goosebumps on my skin. Two more songs that I must mention as being my highlights are This Idiocracy being a fine political tune related to daily life and also The Irreplaceable Past which is my personal best song of all six.
