Trashed Ambulance and Charlie Bit My Finger cover each other in new singles!

Back in 2018, Alberta’s Trashed Ambulance and Belgium’s Charlie Bit My Finger played a few shows together surrounding their Pouzza Fest appearances. For some reasons, during that trek they came up with the idea of covering each other. Fast forward 3 years to see today the releases of Cow A Bunga, performed by Trashed Ambulance, and Charlie Bit My Finger’s rendition of Metronome. Check out the songs at the links below:

Charlie Bit My Finger – Metronome

Word on the street is that these songs might be part of a future EP to come out soon on Montreal’s Thousand Islands Records.

About Trashed Ambulance:

Formed in 2014, Trashed Ambulance has defied all odds, member changes and hangovers to become a gnarly force in Central Alberta. Trashed has shared the stage with such punk rock juggernauts as Face To Face, Ten Foot Pole, The Real Mckenzies, SNFU, The Isotopes and Belvedere and it’s fair to say, the future is bright for this gang of miscreants. Keep your ear to the ground as these dudes are trashed and making a scene.

About Charlie Bit My Finger:

Charlie Bit My Finger is a 5-piece pop/punkrock band with lots of melodic riffs, straight-forward drums and clean vocals. They remind you of punkrock from the ’90s. A mix from Millencolin, New Found Glory and Bouncing Souls. Three years ago, they released their second full album and promoted this on their Canadian tour along with some other great shows in Belgium and abroad.

(review) Zebrahead – III

Zebrahead have been around for a long time, delivering their vision of rap mixed with skate punk, pop punk and metal influenced guitar work. I was supposed to check them out live at 2020 Punk Rock Holiday but due to known reasons that didnt happen, so I hope to catch them somewhere on tour in Europe in 2022. In the meantime, they delivered new e.p. containing five songs. My personal favorite is A Long Way Down, also Homesick for Hope is superb too. Everyone who checked their last two full lengths will know what I mean when I say that they continued their path musically like those two records, meaning a mixture of punk rock, metallic guitar riffs, some rap, pop punk and above all, great songwriting. Go get this one and have a listen!

Finnish melancholic punks One Hidden Frame released new single!

The second single from the Nordic melancholy masters – One Hidden Frame throws in an intensive mix of aggression, anthemic melodies and gut-wrenching topic with the song ‘Information Blackout’.

“Local ethnic minorities have faced torture and persecution at the Xinjiang internment camps, while PRC has stated that these camps are created in the name of “re-education”. It has been widely reported that they contain systematic state-organized erasing of the minorities’ culture and language.”

Information Blackout is available on digital streaming platforms.
