Deth Kaktus’ highly anticipated debut album, ‘Prick,’ is a culmination of years of dedication and evolution. Recording the album proved to be an intense journey for the band, as they meticulously honed their material in a basement studio. Hailing from Clifton, NJ, Deth Kaktus was formed in 2008 by Matt Garvey and Sean Orozco, who initially connected through a Craigslist ad seeking a guitarist for a Metallica cover band. The band experienced various lineup changes before solidifying their current roster, which features the powerful vocals of Manny, the thunderous drums of J.C. Garcia, and the return of bassist Adam Osetek. Together, they unleash a cataclysmic sonic assault that fuses elements of thrash, death, metalcore, and more, resulting in their distinct and face-meltingly epic sound.
