Steel Panther su izdali svoj šesti dugosvirajući album na kojem se nalazi trinaest pjesama. Prvi puta sam čuo ovaj bend daleke 2010.kada sam se smijao njihovim namjerno over the top, tekstovima i nazivima pjesama koje se na prvi pogled čine seksističke i mizoginističke, no bend se zapravo sve ove godine izruguje iz svih glam/hard n heavy Sunset Strip Los Angeleskih bendova s kraja 80-ih godina prošlog stoljeća. No, to ne bi imalo nikakvog smisla, da usput ne pišu i sjajnu muziku i pjesme su jednostavno catchy i hitoidne i uđu ti u uho s refrenima koje se uhvatiš kako pjevušiš satima ili danima kasnije. To je i slučaj na ovome albumu. ‘Friends With Benefits’ nikako ne izlazi iz uha, kao i ‘1987’, te zicer ‘Magical Vagina’, kao i ‘All That And More’, koje su jednostavno odlično. Ovo nije album koji bih svrstao u njihovih top tri albuma, ali je zabavan za poslušati i fulirati se i zajebavati usput. Riječ je o dobrom melodičnom hard sleazy rock albumu koji dugo ostaje u ušima.

Flitcraft are hailing from Down Under, meaning from mighty Australian scene where I am always glad to discover great band from across the globe, halfway across the world. Flitcraft are spawn of one Phillip T. King, known for his work as a guitarist/vocalist for Butterfly and singer for Galaxy. This album contains nine songs of spacy, a bit psychodelic metal mixed with progressive and hard rock influences. This band sounds like an amalgamation of King’s previous work, mix of psych space rock and melodic speed metal. There are songs like ‘Error Era’ on this one, more oriented into speed/melodic metal with anthemic melodies, double bass drum work and great chorus, but also space prog rock psychodelia metal of ‘Earth Is Not A Perfect Sphere’ lends much to Maiden but also all those seventies prog rock bands. Vocals are great, mixture of Kai Hansen-like voice and Rob Halford’s lower octaves. There are also dirty hard n heavy rock influenced guitar work riffs like in ‘I Forgot Everything(Research At Dive Bars)’ having that beautiful melody in there. Also songs ‘Galactic Road Trip(Wayworn Travellers)’ and ‘Smoko With Sisyphus’ are my personal highlights there. This is original and inspiring opus to listen to.
