This is Core is pleased to present the new DRY YOUR EYES video, “Uranos”, premiered on Ghost Killer Entertainment, which anticipates the release of “Cardinals” on March 15th on all the most important digital platforms.

Carlo Mosconi, singer and leader of the band, comments on the release of the album and the video:
“The different songs of our EP have been conceived starting from a technical writing of the instrumental, with a precise target of listeners in mind.
For Uranós, this is not valid.The starting point for this song was the theme related to the universe , to the sense of freedom but also to the fear that infuses deep and infinite space (Uranós is the ancient Greek word for heaven).
We started from a feeling, from an atmosphere, but above all from the idea of ​​a video with contrasting emotions, comparing simple daily life actions to the magnificence and grandeur of the sky.”

(record review)CORBIAN-“Supremacy of Fire”

Founded in 2014.Corbian, the quintet from Offenbach, Germany is a relatively new band in the scene but they bloody kick ass. Their new album is one of the best albums that I listened to this week.

The album contains 11 songs and the opener “Bloodborn” just blew my head off with fast and melodic anthemic chorus backed by great moshing parts. The title track leans more towards the metalcore territory with a nod to Gothenburg melodic school of Swedish death metal. I loved the Gothenburg style bands since I was a kid, so I am still a sucker for such bands today. According to the band promo bio, their live shows are something to see and hear, so I would like very much to catch these guys live one day in the not too distant future. The anthemic choruses made for sing along, the guitar hooks and melodies that remain in your mind so you can whistle and hum them all through the nasty working day at the job you hate, only to come home and blow your speakers again with the music of Corbian. I will not reveal what joy all the tracks in this album bring, it is up to you to get it, because this one is a keeper!

27173224_1565095553539202_6931167947149754330_oItalian metalcore act Let Them Fall has revealed in streaming their new album “Wolftales”, available from March 9th via Antigony Records. The new album was recorded, mixed and mastered at Wavemotion Recordings Studios by  Federico Ascari, artwork by Moonlover – Visual Arts.

The band says: “‘Wolftales’ is our first full-length, the arrival point of a long journey started more than one year ago. The thematics are familiar to our previous music, we speak about self-improvement and most of our songs are a call out for those who need to find their own path in this world. Regarding the sound we’ve maintained the same atmosphere we’ve created with the last two singles, a powerful metalcore but still melodic and emotional. Our great inspiration for this album as far as the concept is concerned has been the northern mythology, from which we’ve taken a part of the titles and lyrics”.
