The vocalist Taylor Barber stated about the new EP:

We have evolved and equipped so many new sounds and dynamics for this band over the past four years. With Neil and Howard coming on board it added a new weapon to our arsenal. Noah is different but still very much the same aggressive LTS sound you’ve come to know and love, just now with a sprinkle of mainstream chorus energy.

Surfacing out of Atlanta, GA, LEFT TO SUFFER is a 5-piece metal outfit consisting of Taylor Barber on vocals, Christian Nowatzki on Bass, Peter Higgs and Jacob Gordon on guitars, as well as newest member Alex Vavra on drums. LTS fuses influences from all corners of Deathcore to create an unmistakable new sound dubbed Nu-Deathcore. Their new EP ‘Noah‘ is done in collaboration with Judge & Jury (Howard Benson and Neil Sanderson). Shortly after, their nationwide tour with metal band Distant kicks off on August 18th, with dates through late September.

Judge and Jury Records is an independent record label based in Los Angeles, CA that was founded in 2019 by Multi-Platinum Record Producer Howard Benson and Neil Sanderson of Three Days Grace. Throughout his career, co-founder Howard Benson has sold over 60 million albums, accruing 25 billion+ streams producing for artists such as My Chemical Romance, P.O.D., Skillet, Three Days Grace, Seether, Daughtry, Kelly Clarkson, and many more. Fellow Judge and Jury Records co-founder Neil Sanderson has seen similar success himself from being songwriter and co-founder of Three Days Grace. With over 10 million albums sold and 22 #1 songs at rock radio, he has most recently cemented himself as the #1 Loudwire artist of 2022. Howard and Neil started working together creatively when Howard produced “One-X” with Three Days Grace – his first of several albums with the band. With the combination of Howard’s production and Neil’s songwriting, they now have the most #1 songs at mainstream rock radio in history.

Fused By Defiance release official music video for ‘Will Of A Warrior’!

LA Based, 5 piece band FUSED BY DEFIANCE has released the official music video for their new single, ‘Will Of A Warrior.’ With the music video directed by: Vicente Cordero of Industrialism Films, ‘Will Of A Warrior’ was produced by the band themselves and mixed / mastered by Joshua Wickman.

The unadulterated ball of defiant energy known as Fused by Defiance (FxD), blends heavy riff driven rock, metal, and rap with social conscious lyrics. This dominant force continues to rise in popularity due to their memorable songs and highly energetic live performances.

Since their inception in 2012, these Los Angeles natives always leave an unforgettable impression on their audiences which allows them to open alongside national acts such as Nonpoint, Soulfly, The Offspring, Sum 41, Puddle of Mudd, Crazytown, Fear Factory, Eyes Set To Kill, Buckcherry, P.O.D., Alien Ant Farm, and Blue Oyster Cult. The band also has experience playing festival stages at Vans Warped Tour and 95.5fm KLOS Sabroso Fest.
With the intention of social progress, this fearless five-piece has a reputation for defying the status quo in such an electric way that listeners are inspired to open their minds. This especially rings true in their newest EP Manifest. FxD defines Manifest as the surreal, and often ethereal, experience of turning your dreams into reality. Only by recognizing and taking responsibility for life’s obstacles can one redirect and refocus to achieve their dream. FxD wishes to continue to inspire their listeners to adjust, grow, and push forward until their dreams come to fruition.

(review) Morning Again – ‘Borrowed Time’ (Dead Serious Recordings)

Morning Again were formed back in the nineties and their vision of metallic hardcore helped shape what we nowadays call metalcore, playing mixture of hardcore and metal with moshing parts, tempo changes and brutal guitar riffs mixed with hardcore energy. They even released full length record for legendary Revelation Records. Now, this new EP contains five songs, one being intro. ‘Serpiente’ is uptempo aggressive song with fast start, evolving into moshing mid tempo parts with screaming apocalyptic vocals and brutality prevailing all over, I can even hear some Slayer in the guitar work during faster riffing in this song. I love how this band combined socially and politically engaged lyrics into their music, kinda being personal but read between the lines lyrics and these hardcore heavyweights have their hearts in right places. ‘Insolvent’ starts with great sample and it is a modern hardcore bomb with Earth Crisis vibe in there, vocals at times reminded me of that band. This one is noisy, brutal and in your face song. ‘Resignation’ features guest vocals by none other than late legendary Trevor Strnad of Black Dahlia Murder fame and this one is my personal favorite on this EP. ‘Nigh’ finishes the record as short but heavy miniature. Good one!
