OUTMAYR Share New Video For “The Dawn Of The Day After”!

Italian metalcore act Outmayr has dropped a brand new video for “The Dawn Of The Day After”, new single out now in all digital stores in partnership with Superbia Music Group.

Speaking on the release of his new video, Outmayr shares: “’The Dawn Of The Day After’ speaks to everyone: whether it’s your boss, the friend with the permanent smile, or the apparently careless person. Everyone feels lost at some point.  The difference is made when we stop standing still and decide to act, in any direction, for our own good. The official video (perhaps our favorite so far) tells all of this in a story of courage, that kind of courage we bring out in the worst times. Initially, you literally see a group of people digging their own grave with their hands. First among them, our protagonist (Peko). Until one of those people dies, falling into their own grave. This is where the spark ignites, the decisive moment, the last junction before a road that will always be downhill. Right at that moment, Peko realizes the madness they are all engaged in. He takes his hand to his chest, instinctively. The necklace he finds, is the emotional anchor that urges him to stop digging and start running. To escape from the bottom of the barrel, Peko will have to climb a mountain, symbol of everything he has always run away from and never wanted to face, risking several times not to make it and fall back. He faints as he reaches the top. When the same people who were digging around him lift him up, moved by Peko’s single gesture, and accompany him towards dawn, to face together whatever comes next, whatever it may be. With the release of this single, we can already say that 2024 will be a year full of new developments for our project and all the people who support our music.

(new video) Sunset Radio have a new video out for Givin´It Up!

“Givin’It Up” is the first single taken from the upcoming EP completely self-produced by Sunset Radio  and out in March 2020 via Pan Music Production (ITA), Seahorse Studio (ITA) and Far Channel Records (JAP). The video, directed by Filippo Cinotti, was shot in the Centurione Klan gym  in Ravenna and was born from a close collaboration between the band and the World Champion of Muay Thai Sveva Melillo, the protagonist in first person of the video.

“‘Givin’It Up’ is an invitation not to give up, not to give up in the face of the worst difficulties, to grit your teeth and fight, always” says the frontman Andrea Neri “Precisely for this reasonwe turned to Sveva to take part in the video as protagonist. We have our fears and often the latter are right inside ourselves but it’s not always easy to face them. Life hits hard, throws us to the ground day after day, but the important thing is to react, get up, because ‘for every bad day you’ll have there will always be a better one ‘”.

The song – like all the EP – was recorded at Seahorse Studio in Ravenna by Fabrizio Panbarco, and mixed  by the same at Pan Music Production in Turin. Many thanks to Sveva Melillo, Stefano Naldi, Gaia Martini and all the Centurione Klan Staff.

(record review)Let Them Fall-“Wolftales”(Antigony Records)

Let Them Fall is an Italian melodic hardcore/metalcore band active since 2012.and this is their first full length album, the result of hard work and perseverance through the years.

The album contains 10 tracks of melodic hardcore bordering with metalcore.  The lyrics and song titles of the album are inspired by Nordic mythology but in fact through the lyrics you can find motivational charge to find your place in the world and to bring your inner self to peace with who you really are. That is how I understood the lyrics. One of the absolute highlights of the album for me is “Jormund” with its anthemic melodies and chorus it made my skin crawl with goosebumps. The clever use of piano and electronics in the song emphasize the grandeur of Let Them Fall´s music. I usually don´t like metalcore much, I love these guys because they are melodic hardcore band showing where modern hardcore should go to, being original and also energetic. Some scene purists don´t like hardcore to go anywhere from the stripped down lo-fi origins or youth crew days of the 80´s but I already said, the underground scene is like a living, breathing entity, constantly searching, constantly evolving and if we open our eyes and ears we can only grow rich with new experiences and conquer the new horizons.
