From the desk of Block Parent:

Growing up is a painful and beautiful experience. It mutates and morphs ya into the chud loving critter you never thought you’d see reflecting back at ya in a pool of your own vomit.

We hold onto the pains of nostalgia with our beer soaked fists while we anxiously hide our disdain and discomfort for a scary and confusing world….but we have each other.

We’ll grow old together and we’ll absolutely get weirder. In the end, all we can do is embrace our flaws, accept our self destruction, face our anxieties and hold on to what we love….past present and future.

Here’s to you Cambridge, you beautiful and disgusting wretched hive of friendship and isolation. It’s not much….but it’s ours.

Skatepunks Out In Style released their new video for Stuck In The Labyrinth!

b51bae26-93a1-47db-b2d2-8b3f566211d1

Too Loud Records is proud to announce the new video from the Brazilian/Canadian skatepunkers Out In Style “Stuck in the Labyrinth” taken from their latest album “Letters Never Sent”.

Special Announcement!

So last year we released “Letters Never Sent” in the middle of the covid 19 situation. We had a lot of plans and tours scheduled through these years but due to obvious reasons we couldn’t achieve that. So we had an idea of being closer to our friends and fans, shooting 10 videos in only 8 days. So on march 26th we’re releasing the first video off that marathon, which is very special for us. See you soon, take care!

Produced, recorded, mixed and mastered at Titans Lab Recording Studio by Riccardo Daga.

Band statement

Letters Never Sent is an album which took years for me to pick my favorite lyrics and build a story about it. It is extremely personal and emotional and it also features the best of each band member, showing how the band is more mature year after year.”

(review) Scott Sellers – Reality e.p.

cover

Scott Sellers is one of the most prolific musicians in punk rock scene right now, delivering new music very often and it is fascinating how he manages to make every of his releases sound awesome. This time there are five songs on this e.p. What to expect here? If you didn´t hear Scott´s music yet, it is melodic skate punk with many influences from those nice epic old school melodic punk records that I grew up on in the nineties when I was a teenage kid. The melodic guitar work is nice, enough technical to appeal to kids who love their skate punk more technical and prog, yet remaining with both feet in the old school considering the songwriting. Vocals are superb, backing vocal harmonies too. Songs are mainly fast, yet there is one slower called From the Wild which is one of my favorites on this record having soo sweet melody and chorus. Back to Reality is also one of my favorites, being so uplifting and having lyrics I can really relate to in my personal life. So, if you are a fan of Scott´s work, you will love this one, if you wasn´t before, you will be now.
