(review) All Life Ends – ‘Miscreation’

ALL LIFE ENDS are hailing from Switzerland and this is their second opus. There are nine songs on this album. The band was founded in 2006 and they play death metal. They released two EP-s and this is their second full length opus. Although they play death metal there are also couple of metalcore and thrash metal influences in their song structures. Considering death metal, ALL LIFE ENDS lean more heavily into American school of death metal, with blistering fast blast beats, thundering fast guitar solos, which contain occasional hooks and catchy melodic short parts, also some atmospheric parts are in the songs, almost progressive death metal, along with moshing grooves like in ‘The Dreamless Void’, the longest song on this record, but in no way boring for a second. Production is brutal and grandiose, courtesy of Dan Swanö at Unisound AB Studio. Vocals are brutal and more guttural, but you can understand what is being sung about in many parts, so that is another plus for me considering this band. This album was written during covid shit lockdowns and pandemics, so one of my personal favorites on this record is ‘Pandemonic’, also song I must mention is ‘Extinction Hours’. This is quality death metal with couple of thrash and metalcore parts thrown in, so enjoy it as I did.

Swedish heavy/thrashers MAN MACHINE INDUSTRY release new single & video “R.I.P.” feat. David White from Heathen!

The Swedish heavy/thrash metallers MAN MACHINE INDUSTRY have released a stunning single from the brand-new EP “Eschaton II. Judgment Day”, out April 28 via GMR Music Group! The song is called “R.I.P.” and sees the participation of Heathen’s David White as special guest!

J. Bergman on “R.I.P” with David White:

I’ve been a fan of the Bay Area thrash scene since day one. Testament, Death Angel, Forbidden…and of course, HEATHEN have all been a huge inspiration to me as a songwriter. The song fits us both perfect and it’s a real fireball of a song.

As its predecessor, the main theme of “Eschaton II. Judgment Day is the end of the world. The sound is stronger, powerful, energetic and aggressive yet melodic than ever! If you are a fan of Megadeth, Judas Priest and Machine Head – this is the right sound for your ears!

MMI is the solo project created by producer/songwriter/front-man J. Bergman who has a history as the drummer in SLAPDASH (Nuclear Blast Records) and ROSICRUCIAN (Black Mark Prod). The MMI discography includes the debut “Box of Horrors” (2016, KMP), followed by “Reborn” (2018, GMR Music) and “Doomsday Clock” (2020, GMR Music). MMI appeared in the PS3/X-Box game ”The Darkness” with two videos, and you can also see him in the Viktor Vran game ”Through The Ages-The Overkill edition” together with MOTÖRHEAD.

Eschaton II. Judgment Day” has been produced, mixed and recorded by J. Bergman at Studio Killing Machine. Mastering by Erik Mårtensson at Mass Destruction Production. All instruments performed by J. Bergman except the following: split lead vocals on “R.I.P” with David White. Guitar on “Judgment Day” by Oscar Mander. The voice of president Doomsday on “March of Judgment” and “Judgment Day” by Jens C. Mortensen. Design and layout by J. Bergman. Band logo by J. Bergman. Photo by Mattias Johansson. The album ‘Sun God’ is composed of 9 tracks for over 55 minutes of playing time. It is a reflection about ancient old belief systems and how, nowadays, our beliefs are manipulated and dominated by hypnotic media, pseudo sciences, and placebo wisdom. The symbolism of the Sun God is used by the band in opposition to Satan and his temptations. While the latter one creates lies to make people’s souls empty, the Sun God represents the search for our inner Self, in intimate connection with Nature and the harmony it generates.

PARACRONA is a six-piece mainly from Norway. The composers are the Dutch-born singer RingoChristiaan Van Droffelaar and the lead guitarist Øystein Hansen. The songwriting takes inspiration from Burzum, Dimmu Borgir, Dissection, Morbid Angel, Mayhem, Dark Funeral, but also from Queen, Dreamtheater,Bay Area Thrash Metal, Classical Music, and Pop.
