Florida’s thrash/death metal band RONWE pays hommage to 90’s death metal with self-titled album

Floridian extreme metal act RONWE released its self-titled LP via Music-Records today! The band makes its love for the traditional extreme metal clear with its self-titled album, using throwbacks to 90’s and 80’s extreme metal bands such as Celtic FrostKreator, and Exodus. What makes this record unique is the occasional use of synths and keyboard lines reminiscent of Rammstein, and symphonic metal-oriented piano lines. This approach creates a duality in sound as well as showing a glimpse of an alternate timeline in which the extreme metal genre could have evolved differently. The album as a whole consists of brilliantly written groovy thrash/death metal riffs one can’t help but bob their head to.

Swedish heavy/thrashers MAN MACHINE INDUSTRY release new single & video “R.I.P.” feat. David White from Heathen!

The Swedish heavy/thrash metallers MAN MACHINE INDUSTRY have released a stunning single from the brand-new EP “Eschaton II. Judgment Day”, out April 28 via GMR Music Group! The song is called “R.I.P.” and sees the participation of Heathen’s David White as special guest!

J. Bergman on “R.I.P” with David White:

I’ve been a fan of the Bay Area thrash scene since day one. Testament, Death Angel, Forbidden…and of course, HEATHEN have all been a huge inspiration to me as a songwriter. The song fits us both perfect and it’s a real fireball of a song.

As its predecessor, the main theme of “Eschaton II. Judgment Day is the end of the world. The sound is stronger, powerful, energetic and aggressive yet melodic than ever! If you are a fan of Megadeth, Judas Priest and Machine Head – this is the right sound for your ears!

MMI is the solo project created by producer/songwriter/front-man J. Bergman who has a history as the drummer in SLAPDASH (Nuclear Blast Records) and ROSICRUCIAN (Black Mark Prod). The MMI discography includes the debut “Box of Horrors” (2016, KMP), followed by “Reborn” (2018, GMR Music) and “Doomsday Clock” (2020, GMR Music). MMI appeared in the PS3/X-Box game ”The Darkness” with two videos, and you can also see him in the Viktor Vran game ”Through The Ages-The Overkill edition” together with MOTÖRHEAD.

Eschaton II. Judgment Day” has been produced, mixed and recorded by J. Bergman at Studio Killing Machine. Mastering by Erik Mårtensson at Mass Destruction Production. All instruments performed by J. Bergman except the following: split lead vocals on “R.I.P” with David White. Guitar on “Judgment Day” by Oscar Mander. The voice of president Doomsday on “March of Judgment” and “Judgment Day” by Jens C. Mortensen. Design and layout by J. Bergman. Band logo by J. Bergman. Photo by Mattias Johansson. NEW video clip from KILLIGION!

Killigion is a name made up of the words kill and religion, I think there is no need to explain more, the band arises from the remains of the dismantled Havoc who in 2007 reached its peak and fall with the album “Elimination process” with American Line and stood out in line of a raw, violent and direct thrash metal.

At the beginning of 2018, it was intended to reactivate Havoc with a second album, but the estrangement and inactive status of some members led to the creation of this new project.
For 3 years we worked to create the homonymous album who saw the light in physical format before digital at the end of the pandemic 2020, an album that consists of 10 tracks different from each other and that are not boring at all, the sound described in the review of Metal Hammer Portugal aims for touches of Swedish death metal and traces of groove metal infused with thrash metal that are left to stand out.

We feel very satisfied with the work achieved, musically, graphically and
lyrically, this work reflects the political and cultural conditions that society is going through, and motivates us to produce new material, our passion for music would not leave us without doing it, Although we are going through times in which live presentations are not allowed, a form of direct diffusion that the public involved in this style loves, digital technology has allowed us to somehow reach metal-loving fans.
