As We Suffer has been building momentum with their high-energy performances all over Ottawa and is looking to expand their fan base worldwide.

Purveyor of Chaos are hailing from Canada and this band was formed on the ashes of Full Give and Penetrator, this being their opus containing eleven songs. The music of this band is raw and harsh heavy metal, not unlike old school eighties vibe, reminding me a bit of Dio, like in fantastic ‘Man of the Cloth’, one of my album favorites. Here we can hear more straightforward heavy metal like ‘Four Point Harness’, but also slower, rolling metal songs with higher pitched metal vocals like the title song, which evolves into fast thrash metal influenced song. This is not only thrash metal influence on the album, there are faster and more aggressive parts like in ‘Without A Master’, which is almost fast thrash metal song in many segments. I must especially mention guitarist/vocalist Maxel Black being totally fantastic singer, his voice transforming from Bruce Dickinson, Dio ranges to more high pitched, almost King Diamond-esque vocals. The musicianship is great, guitar work creating melodic ruthless aggression but also hooks and memorable passages. Drums and their double bass work deliver storm along with bass. This is a strong metal record and I am really glad having listened to this opus.
Swedish metal rock phenomenon Banned in G.B.G. are proud to announce the release of their new 2-track EP ‘High, Higher!’ via Wormholedeath worldwide. The EP features the title track and the song ‘Patient Zero‘.
Starting as a studio project in the fall of 2018, Banned in G.B.G. quickly gained popularity for their fast and loose riffing and for the unique blend of musical backgrounds brought to the band by its members. Their latest album ‘What The Hell Is Going On?’ was released via Wormholedeath worldwide. The band members have been making noise on the underground rock scene of Gothenburg, Sweden for a while, and their music is not a compromise but an ‘uncompromise’ – a fusion of their favorite kicking sounds. Banned in G.B.G.’s line-up includes Paul V. on vocals (Tornado Babies, Not Enough Hate), Zee on bass (On Parole, Smash it up), Joke on guitar (The Nuts, Wreckers), Rat on guitar (Cherokee Death Cats, Ladida), and Tommie on drums (Nissses Nötter, Stillborn).
The band stated:
Hi! Right now we’re busy working on new material for a full-length album. But meanwhile, we’d like to give you some new music! Since it’s a new year and all that… So, here’s an EP for you with two songs that we recorded during the same session as our debut album (What The Hell Is Going On) but have never previously released. It made sense to release these two songs as a separate EP rather than trying to cram them into an already stacked and intense album. And we wouldn’t want to let them go wasted now would we? So, we’re looking forward to hearing your thoughts about these two tunes and we really hope you like them. Where can you go from here? Just Higher and Higher!
