Finska black metal scena mi je jedna od omiljenih. Iako je možda manje razvikana od recimo norveške i švedske black metal scene, puna je odličnih bendova koji rade po svojem, bez obzira ne trendove, bez obzira na major label trendove ili na trenutne prohtjeve glazbene industrije i traju tako desetljećima noseći plamen i održavajući ga živim. Hollow Woods su dio finske black metal scene i ne zna se baš mnogo o ovom bendu, osim da im je ovo prvi dugosvirajući opus. Glazba je black metal onako na 90-e način, old school, brzi i sirovi. Ali, ispod brutalnosti i agresivnosti leže one divne melankolične melodije kakve samo finski sisu može stvoriti. Vokali su kričavi blekerski, ali ima tu i growl uleta kao i odličnog clean vikanja koje svojom melodijom savršeno odgovara gitarskim naletima. Ako ste fan old school black metala dobro napisanog, punog agresije i melankolije, ovo će biti izvrsno za vas. Meni je baš kako treba.

‘WEEMOEDSKLANKEN’ (Dutch for sounds of melancholy) deals with the struggle of time and impermanence:
“Again…. yet again I awake in the dead of night, drenched in sweat. Woken by an atrocious autumn storm, pounding on the windows, begging for attention. Gloom…. The changing of the seasons seems to have become a fast repeating ritual. Irreversible. With dazzling speed we’re heading for the inevitable black beacon that marks the end of life. While my hair is gradually turning gray, the color of the world I’m immersed in. The heart transforms into the shape of cracked ground. The growing realization that there’s no grasp… No grasp on time, that’s been cruel of the ever increasing menacing world. Mother Earth’s antics indicate she’s fed up with it all. And so am I. Meanwhile, time passes by, like the parched leaves blowing against the window. The night is black and I try to fall asleep again. Tomorrow is another day…”
Time to reveal the title, cover,track-listing, and new video for the debut release of Greek death blacksters MIND ERASURE! The new album will be titled “Connive” and is going to be released on February 13, 2022.
Short Biografy: Mind Erasure formed back in 2007, they have released one demo and one promo before The album “CONNIVE”. Through the years many members came and left with more noticeable the founder member Dimitris Garnelis who left the band for personal reasons right after the recording of “CONNIVE” have finished. We have shared the stage with many bands, such as, Rotting Christ, Planet Of Zeus & Temperance.
All preproduction recordings and mixing where done by Vasilis at KOSKI studio. Mastering by George Neratzis, Logo by Dod K, Artwork By Gogo Melone, blindfolds were made by Penelope Mamalou.
