Finnish goth rockers LAMORI release captivating single and lyric video for ‘Never Alone’!

Acclaimed rock dark metal band LAMORI is set to enthrall fans once again with the release of their latest single and accompanying lyric video, ‘Never Alone.’ The track, which offers a unique blend of haunting romanticism and dystopian science fiction, serves as a precursor to their highly anticipated album, ‘NEON BLOOD FIRE.’

‘Never Alone’ transports listeners to a near-future world teetering on the edge of self-destruction, where two lovers dare to face the chaos surrounding them and unearth the chilling secrets of their own existence. Against the backdrop of a dying sun, they cling to the enigmatic cyber-legend known as The Athanasia Project. The track’s compelling narrative weaves a tragic tale of love and loss, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those who dare to venture into LAMORI’s dark and enchanting realm.

LAMORI’s band members, including Matias Juselius (vocals), Marcus Pellas (guitar), Mikael Westerlund (bass), Jens Wickholm (keys), and Emanuel Sanchez (drums), have poured their artistic vision into ‘Never Alone.’ Demonstrating their versatility, the band chose to include a slightly softer song within their repertoire of hard-hitting bangers, a tradition they’ve maintained across their previous albums. ‘Never Alone’ seamlessly blends heartfelt emotions with a powerful musicality, culminating in a bridge that delivers an intense punch, emblematic of LAMORI’s signature style.

(review) Dan Cribb & The Isolated – ‘I’ll Follow You Anywhere(PEE Records)

Dan Cribb & The Isolated started as a solo project for WA singer-songwriter Dan Cribb, former vocalist and bassist of The Decline. But, along the way it became so much more and something really beautiful. Dan was joined by Scott Connor (guitar/vocals) and Brennan Pagels (drums),. This new opus contains eleven songs which continue with way they started. That means beautiful heartfelt emotional punk rock. There is lots of melody in this one, especially in vocal lines which are so sweet and some of the songs, like for example chorus of ‘The Best of Whatever’ brought goosebumps upon my skin while listening to the album. I must admit that I enjoyed listening this album as one whole, these songs stirred up something in me which brought smile to my face and that is definitely not often the case. Songs are mainly in mid tempo punk rock, so don’t expect fast hardcore melodic skate punk frenzy with this album, but there are lots of tempo changes, pop punk sensibilities and for all that is worth, great songwriting to top it all. Some of my other personal favorites on this one are: ‘Addicted For Life’, ‘Fade Away’, ‘Full Circle’. This one is a keeper!

The songs take deep inspiration from the universal feeling of being trapped, emotionally, physically and financially inside one’s work place. This thought-provoking track shines a spotlight on the mundanity of workplace life, inviting listeners to reflect on the everyday experiences that shape our existence.

While also acting as a critique of the societal model we each all act out our lives in, working to live and living to work. ‘Get Away’ offers a poignant portrayal of the repetitive nature of our daily and the monotony that can permeate our lives. The frustration and anger that can fester with in us is articulated through fast paced riffs, powerful raw vocals and a drum beat you feel resonating in your head.

The lyrics resonate with those who have felt the monotony of commuting, the repetition of meetings, and the longing for something more meaningful in their professional lives. This single serves as a reminder to seek purpose and fulfilment beyond the confines of the nine-to-five routine.
