The Crimson Ghosts from Germany are in no way strangers to the pages of this zine, because I reviewed their other releases and did not one, but two interviews with this horrorpunk legends and for me the best European horrorpunk band. This time, The Crimson Ghosts re-issued their classic Carpe Mortem album on it’s twentieth anniversary completely remixed and remastered giving the 2026 versions of 13 songs which are contained on this opus a new and refreshing but mighty sound. What I love about The Crimson Ghosts is that they are pretty metallic in their punk sound and it fits perfectly to the song structures. Vlad is one of my favorite vocals and also one of the best vocals of the genre, with fantastic backing vocal harmonies, this being always a strong virtue of this band. For me the definite hits of this opus are Somewhere in a Casket, ballad Night of the Dead Promqueen, also genial Patchwork Fuckface, but you will have to find your favorites yourselves. This is one of top three The Crimson Ghosts opuses for me, so I recommend this one. Go get it and have a listen!

(review) Axe Collector – Axe Collector (Human Future Records)
This one is out now for couple of months, but it doesn’t matter if the music is good and I want to present this one to the readers of my zine. Axe Collector are coming from San Diego, California and they are playing hardcore punk/powerviolence. There are nine songs on this beauty. Only one song is two minutes long, all the others are under. If you are familiar with powerviolence you’ll know what that means, fast drumming, blast beats, screaming and guttural vocals and raw guitar work. I can also hear some d-beat influences thrown in here and there, but maybe it’s only me. Lyrics are mostly personal with some of them being a bit social themes and you can read that between a few lines. I love such bands that play this kind of music but I can’t listen to them the whole day long, so this one is nice break from other music styles to check out. They kinda remind me of old now defunct Croatian band called Senata Fox, and they were awesome, so I also think that about this album. If you like powerviolence and hardcore punk, raw, fast and aggressive, go check out this beauty. Nice little record, indeed!
(review) Among Legends – Lose My Grip
Canadian punkrockers Among Legends released their new album. This is out now for couple of months, but no matter, I love to present new bands to me for the readers of this zine. This album contains 12 songs of melodic punkrock, bordering in some parts with pop punk. What separates it from other bands is that the songs are not cheesy and over the top, but have the right amount of raw punk guitar work, some groove and enough melody not to be too much. Everyone who knows me will tell you how important vocals are for me in such kind of punkrock. Well, the vocals fit perfectly to the music and there are some gang backing vocals to singalong at gigs and also some great backing vocals harmonies. Lyrics are mostly personal but there are also some social themes between the lines. I love the anthemic choruses like in awesome Sound The Alarm, I also love faster songs like great Go On or Open Wide, which reminded me a lot of nineties punkrock on which I grew up. My other personal favorites on this record which I can emphasize are Hollow, Floating Here For Years and The Last Time. Great melodic punkrock if you like this kind of music, I know I do!
