(review) Cartel – Learning How To Cope

Cartel are hailing from Atlanta, Georgia and this is their highly anticipated fifth album, just came out couple of weeks ago. What can we expect from this record? Well, a lot and my expectations were met and then some. There are 12 songs and Cartel plays excellent mixture of melodic punkrock sounding a bit like bands from nineties and pop punk. Music has beautiful guitar melodies, superb vocals not cheesy but nice, and awesome backing vocal harmonies and choruses to which you can hum and sing along whole day. This album really made my day on this sunny early Autumn day reminding me of friends, hangings out, smiles and positivity. Lyrics are personal but I think everyone can relate to them at least to majority of the songs. My personal favorites on this one are Oxy Moron, Inside Out and Disarmed. So, if you like your punkrock melodic and inspiring, also making you smile, check out this record.
