Koncept i montažu spota potpisuje svestrani osnivač i basist benda Aleksandar Rapaić. Spot je sniman na imanju Stari zanati Hlebinama, selu nadomak Koprivnice, u kojem je nastala naivna umjetnost. Odjeća transformirane djevojke ukrašena je tradicionalnim vezom Koprivničkog Ivanca kojeg su posebno za ovu prigodu izvezle članice udruge DIF Koprivnički Ivanec. Master pjesme potpisuje audio majstor Filip Motovunski.

Groove Metallers CROWDEAD Unleash New Single & Video “Everything Ends” Off Upcoming EP “Tearing Your Soul Apart”!

Groove Metallers CROWDEAD Unleash New Single & Video “Everything Ends” Off Upcoming EP “Tearing Your Soul Apart”!

Italian groove metal band CROWDEAD returns to unleash nihilism upon the masses with its new single “Everything Ends” from its upcoming EP Tearing Your Soul Apart”.The EP will be released independently on October 27th.

“Everything Ends” displays CROWDEAD’s aptitude for groove metal and the band’s emphasis on the rhythmic part of metal. The groovy riffs will get the listener’s head moving instantly. Following the riffs, the band’s atmospheric arpeggios come into play, which instill feelings of emptiness and nihilistic dread upon listeners. “Everything Ends” features many groovy riffs that hit hard and then manage to hit even harder. The single is accompanied by a performance video of CROWDEAD as a music video in a desolate setting, perfectly showcasing the band’s nihilistic views.

CROWDEAD’s upcoming EP Tearing Your Soul Apart” is a wall of unrelenting groove metal riffs and is a treat for fans of Lamb of GodPantera, and Sepultura. The band excels at meticulously arranging its riffs to create a fluid listening experience. While inspired by the originators of the groove metal genre, CROWDEAD adds a dark tint of nihilism to its lyrics and overall atmosphere. While bands like Sepultura cast their gazes on society, corrupt politicians, and the lies created by propaganda, CROWDEAD moves its gaze beyond that. If for Sepultura music means resistance, for CROWDEAD, the evil has already won and has taken possession of us. In other words, Sepultura fights against strong powers, while CROWDEAD sees the fight as non-existent.

CROWDEAD was founded in Mantua in 2017. Between 2019 and 2020, the band released its debut album, “Malphas”. With the entrance of frontman Roberto Renoffio in 2021, the current line-up was born. Thanks to CROWDEAD’s metal groove, with clear references to Lamb of God and Machine HeadCROWDEAD took part in many festivals and live performances, performing with bands such as ImploreKataklysmSinisterFleshgod ApocalypseMethedras, and The Modern Age Slavery.

“Tearing Your Soul Apart” was recorded, mixed and mastered at Audiocore Studio. The artwork was made by Stefano Cavazzini and Giorgia De Biasi. The band’s logo was designed by Stefano De Rossi and Giorgia De BiasiGiorgia De Biasi took the band photo.

(review) Sathanas/DeathEpoch – Hellspawn Hegemony

This is a split release of mighty two bands, five songs each delivered to this record. American Sathanas deliver five songs of raw mixture of black and thrash metal with black metal vocals which are a mix of growling and screaming, but you can understand most of what is being sung so that is another plus for the band. I like melodies and some catchy hooks guitars provide and there are some slower songs on this one like pumping ‘Defiled’, songs like ‘Hail Lucifer’ or ‘Jaws of Satan’ are to become your favorites. I can also hear a bit of Venom in Sathanas’ song structures, which is great.

DeathEpoch are hailing from Poland and this band delivers five songs on this record. This band creates dark and almost touchable thick atmosphere with their vision of black/death metal, but they also create eerie sounds with keyboard, samples and electronic which fits perfectly to the song structures like for example in awesome ‘B.D.’ All songs by DeathEpoch on this release are somehow made of initials like for example ‘D.W.’ (personal favorite) or ‘G.O.M.’. Vocals are very deep and very brutal like in death metal rather than black metal. Guitars create some epic melodies and blast beats create brutality with elements of war metal thrown in for good measure.

This is an excellent split release by two underground bands, but I somehow prefer Sathanas side of record more, but that is a matter of personal taste.
