Finnish Goth Rockers LAMORI Unveils Their Latest Single “Ave Valkyria”

Gothic rock/ metal heralds LAMORI are proud to release their newest single, “Ave Valkyria.” This bewitching single is an integral part of their upcoming album, ‘NEON BLOOD FIRE.’

LAMORI is hailing from the Aland Islands of Finland. Formed in 2009, the lineup has remained unchanged. [najava] Wicked Dub Division dolazi u Zagreb i Pulu

Pripremite se na novu dub ludnicu jer legendarni talijanski sastav Wicked Dub Division napokon ponovno dolazi u Hrvatsku.

Močvara će u četvrtak 18. siječnja, kao I klub Kotač u petak 19. siječnja biti sjedište dub eksplozije koju donose ove talijanske uzdanice koje još od 2005. godine haraju europskom dub scenom. Nakon serije vinilnih singlova namijenjenih soundsystem sceni, objavili su svoj prvi album nazvan “Wadada” 2011. godine, a dolazak Michele Grene, glasa B.R. Stylersa i Massimiliana Peaka 2014. označio je novi početak glazbenih eksperimenata za Wicked Dub Division. Nakon objavljenog albuma “The Rootical Dub Session” koji je predstavljen kao omaž roots reggaeu preoblikovanim u dub, Wicked Dub Division eksperimentirali su stvaranjem novih pjesama u jedinstvenom stilu što je kulminiralo izdavanjem albuma “Dub Drops” 2015. godine. Bend je nastupao na mnogim pozornicama širom Italije, otvarali su koncerte za legendarne reggae bendove kao što su Twinkle Brothers, Dub Inc i 99 Posse, a gostovali su i najvažnijim europskim reggae festivalima.

U srpnju 2015. godine osvojili su nagradu kritičara na natjecanju Voices for Freedom Amnesty Internationala Italije s pjesmom “New Slavery”. Njihov četvrti album “Deepest” objavljen je 2019. godine , a u svibnju 2022. godine objavili su “Live Studio Session #1” s North East Ska Jazz Orchestrom koji sadrži devet pjesama snimljenih uživo od strane ta dva benda zajedno. Njihov zajednički hit singl “Mama” iz 2018. godine prodrmao je naše mnoge plesne podije, a uskoro najavljuju i novu partnersku suradnju.

Punk rockers Scumbags release new album “So Many Ways”

Scumbags’ second album, “So Many Ways”, promises to reflect all the maturity and evolution of the trio over the 6 years of existence. “I think that since our first album, Sour Days, we have matured a lot in terms of composition and arrangements. We started hearing new references and brought them to our songs.” reports Chris Oliveira, the band’s drummer.

This maturity is already evident in production. Part of the album was recorded at Forest Lab, in Rio de Janeiro, a studio specialized in completely analog recording. And another part was recorded at Eletric Meduza, a recording studio located in Brusque, Santa Catarina, which also works with analogue elements in the recordings.

For Chris, the new songs will bring a different feel to what people are used to hearing in Scumbags. “The upcoming album will bring a new aesthetic to the band, a new sound. No longer the 90s punk rock that we are used to playing, but we are going to bring more risky and different things.”

About Scumbags: Founded in 2017, Scumbags is a punk rock band from Santa Catarina/Brazil. Currently the band is made up of the trio José Farias (guitar and vocals), Christian Oliveira (drums and vocals) and Jorge Siementkowski (bass).

A reference in its region, Scumbags finds inspiration in punk rock icons, such as Ramones, Blink 182 and Green Day. The compositions come from the musicians’ personal experiences, reflect symbols of the local underground scene and also carry reflective messages about freedom and the ironies of life, elements that are the essence of the punk movement.
