(new post – new single) PROJECT RENEGADE – listen to the new single No Country For White Flags

No Country For White Flags tells the story of the constant effort to realize the dreams of a man born in a place where everything is designed in such a way that his entire environment works against him. The daily struggle, the daily difficulties, the failures and the persistence in our path to find our place in this world is something we all face when we come into this world. We live it every morning when we wake up and we feel its wounds, its effects and its toil every night when we go to sleep. Every day is a war and unfortunately for us Greece is not a country for white flags.

In the musical part, we decided to let Marianna convey the message and talk about things that concern us even today. The feeling of disconnection from your home can really burden many aspects of yourself.

No Country For White Flags is our boldest and most diverse track and completes the journey to the dystopian “Ultra Terra”.

Don’t Miss It!

Super Glue Anxiety is a Finnish experimental music band. Their music is heavily influenced by various genres, including punk / ska / funk / metal.

The band started less than a year ago. They started their career cautiously, testing out a few singles. The feedback from the world was better than expected, so singer Kraapo and guitarist Räikkönen finally decided to record and release a full album.

Singer Kraapo has the following to say about the project: “We did it all winter, alongside day jobs and other projects. Now I feel relieved and happy that the release is finally seeing the light of day. Guitarist Räikkönen and I were surprised that the album turned out to be musically light. Maybe we had the impression that it was going to be heavier. However, there are a bunch of excellent songs on the album, so there’s no point in complaining.

The situation was that we had 20 demos. We got to choose the best ones from these. There were still some good songs left in stock, so maybe one day a second album will be released. These were edited at Samu Oittinen’s studio. We also had a few guest stars sing parts to different songs. This gave the whole thing a nice extra color.

The album has a lot of experimentation and creative madness. This album and this kind of music have been really fun to make.”

(new post – news) Finnish power trio Petrolbreath releases new energetic piece of metallic rock ‘n’ roll

Photographer: Tero Tarvainen

Petrolbreath is a power trio from East Vantaa, embarking on their journey to the core of rock ‘n’ roll in 2019. The band consists of bassist-vocalist Joni Tammenpää, guitarist Ville Panhelainen, and drummer Tuomas Patanen. Drawing influence from 1980s hard rock and heavy metal bands, the sound of Motörhead in particular echoes strongly in their music.

Their previous releases include the heavy-hitting single “Lucifer’s Wings” (2021) and the energetic and well-received EP “Spread Your Wings and Die” (2024).

Petrolbreath recently recorded new material in a fully analog format at Astia Studio, with producer Anssi Kippo at the helm. With these recordings the trio has made a leap towards the raw and authentic sound format that has shaped the soundscape of their own heroes from the eighties as well.

The first track to be released from these sessions is the single “Roadkill”, which paints a picture of a desert highway with its ominous guitar intro. The tempo subtly increases until the song erupts into a fast and thunderous sonic assault; a true Petrolbreath trademark.

Like the aftermath of a car crash after a wild night with an unsatiable woman, the trip is far from over.

“Recording fully analog took us back to the soundscape of our youth – to the rawness and honesty that made us pick up instruments in the first place! Roadkill was the perfect burst of rage to launch us down this path, where we were able to capture that same energy band has playing live!”
