Shudder somehow became trademark for quality horror lately and this is really an interesting idea made into movie. Ryan Kwanten of True Blood fame stars in this one as Wes, guy who just came through painful breakup with Brenda(Sylvia Grace Crim) and he travels along highway and he himself does not know where. Wes stops at a little rest stop and drinks himself to oblivion as he burns Brenda´s and his stuff and passes out. When he comes to, he runs to toilet to puke and realizes he is locked inside with a voice coming from glory hole(J.K. Simmons is brilliant as a voice). That voice presents itself as god Ghat and asks favor of Wes, then things start to complicate. Well, this maybe doesn´t sound promising or inviting but you gotta watch this one, believe you me. This is practically a one man movie, with couple of actors appearing in couple of minutes but Kwanten did a hell of a job with this one. I love how psychodelic parts collide with mindfuck and cosmic horror in this one. This is a good movie. Directed by Rebekah McKendry.

(Vaults of Hammer Horror) The Devil Rides Out(1968) – one of the best Hammer´s movies!
I love Hammer Horror movies! They are my guilty pleasure, my best horror subgenre besides eighties golden era slashers and found footage movies. This is one of the best Hammer´s movies that this company made in its existence. Screenplay was written by Richard Matheson(I Am Legend), based on the novel by Dennis Wheatley and the movie was directed by Hammer alumni Terence Fisher. Christopher Lee stars as Duc de Richleau who tries to save his friend Simon and a girl Tanith from being sacrificed and turn into evil Satan´s servant, by cult led by Mocata played by Charles Gray. This is action packed intense horror with excellent car chase, infamous Goat of Mendes appearance, those who know their horror will remember exactly what I mean. Cast is excellent, story is quality horror, kind of Satanic panic movies that were made later in the seventies, so we can safely say this one was ahead of its time. If you are into exploring Hammer Horror movies, this is for sure gem from that house. Go check this one out.
French punks The Dead Krazukies announce re-issue of their debut ‘The Northern Belle’
The original first album of highly celebrated skate punk newcomers The Dead Krazukies is back and first time on vinyl! The self-produced album “Northern Belle” named after the shipwreck, is being pressed on coloured vinyl for the first time since their last album “Icarus” has been sold out very quickly!
Since 2010, The Dead Krazukies have embodied punk rock with a Basque-Landaise sauce. Originally from Hossegor (our substitute LA among the southerners), the group brings out a concentrate of efficiency and energy.
Think Pennywise, Rise Against all sprinkled with a dollop of Anti-Flag and you’ve got The Dead Krazukies! Captivating and effective melodic punk, carried by a percussive female voice…
In 2016, their first self-produced album, «The Northern Belle» was a great success and directly established the group in the European skatepunk scene. After a lot of concerts and festivals, they end up in 2019 at Punk in
Drublic and open for Bad Religion and NOFX on the French date of the event. Recovered since the release in 2020 of their last little offspring «Icarus», it’s still tube to the excavator that is poured into our eardrums: 12 catchy and powerful tracks, mixed and mastered by Christian Carvin.
The group signs on SoundSpeed Records (USA), SBAM Records (Europe) and Punk&Disorderly (Canada) for the release of Icarus which finds itself sold-out very quickly.
