(movie) Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor

Iznadprosječno ostvarenje za jedan found footage horror.

(review) Drug Abuse – ‘No Thrashing In The House’ (Floral Boys)

In last couple of weeks I like to listen to fast bands and here is one of them. Drug Abuse have a new release out and it contains nine songs of sheer speed and brutality. We are talking mixture of raw powerviolence, even grindcore with hardcore punk and some electronic samples thrown in for good measure all sounding raw and dirty with screaming vocals. Songs are short but titles like title song, ‘Ham Sandwich’, or ‘Kissing On Tv’ are sure to win you over. If you like your hardcore punk fast, screaming and short, this is the right one for you.

Elm Tree Circle New Single ‘Goodbye’!

Elm Tree Circle‘s latest release, Goodbye, is an emotional journey through the haunting echoes of lost love. As the music weaves a tale of fractured connections and bittersweet farewells, the poignant chorus resonates, encapsulating the universal struggle of holding on to a love that slips away. Goodbye is not just a song; it’s a soul-stirring testament to the complexities of love and the delicate dance between nostalgia and moving forward.

Elm Tree Circle have evolved towards a style that inherits all the classic influences of their late 90s and early 2000s pop-punk heroes paired with a good touch of emotional lyrics, melancholic chords and distinct vocal lines that spin in your head after the first listen.

The former solo project broke ground in Europe’s emo, punk and D.I.Y.
scene with their Drawn EP in 2016. After getting more international attention with their debut album The Good Life two years later (1 million
streams on Spotify alone), the band followed up with their sophomore
Album NO FOMO in 2020 a few month after their planned tour to promote
the first singles came to a grinding halt due to the start of the pandemic in
march 2020. In the years before the lock down, Elm Tree Circle as a group
as well as a singer songwriter, have engaged in extensive touring playing
numerous shows across Europe, Australia, Japan and recently even India
where they stage was shared with iconic artists like The Ataris, Pears,
Boston Manor and Such Gold. Germany’s Visions magazine once even
praised them as best in class in emo-rock (translated). Song suggestions
are Feel The Burn as well as All About You for friends of Movements,
Modern Baseball, PUP and American Football.

After a creative break during Covid, the band is finally back with an album
in the pipeline and three singles already out in 2023. Singles “Bae”,
Stoned and Common have made it on major Spotify playlists such as
“All New Rock”, “Rock Rotation” and “Alternative Noise” and feature their
classic package of relatable lyrics and catchy hooks.

On January 25th the group released their latest single Goodbye which
experiments with sounds and a production style that’s new to the band’s
portfolio. The song is an emotional journey through the echoes of lost love
and a testament to the complexities of romantic relationships.
