California postpunk outfit OCTAVIAN WINTERS releases ‘Undertow’!

Today is release day for ‘Undertow’ by San Francisco post-punk outfit OCTAVIAN WINTERS, a dark propulsive single reflecting separation from the world and the darkness that comes out of it – an ominous current capable of pulling someone away from hope. Born into the ghostly isolation of San Francisco in 2022, Octavian Winters draws from darkwave and post-punk traditions, weaving their visceral and ethereal sound into a texture all its own – of stories once told but half-remembered.

Following their debut single ‘Ondine’, ‘Undertow’ previews their debut EP ‘The Line of Curve’, recorded by MARK PISTEL (Meat Beat Manifesto, Consolidated) with production, mixing and mastering by WILLIAM FAITH (The Bellwether Syndicate, Faith and the Muse, Christian Death, The March Violets), whose credits include Jarboe, Clan of Xymox, Bootblacks and Autumn.

RPG Melodic Deathers BOSPARANS FALL Unleash the Official Video of ‘Dunkle Zeiten’!

‘Götterspiel: Dunkle Zeiten’, the new album by the southern German RPG melodic death metallers BOSPARANS FALL, has been in the stores since the end of May. With their melodic death metal, influenced by the role-playing game ‘Das Schwarze Auge’ (The Black Eye), the quintet has obviously hit the nerve of the listeners; the debut longplayer and also the live debut at the Aaargh Festival met with positive feedback almost without exception. With the quasi title-track of the album ‘Dunkle Zeiten’ (Dark Times), the band is now releasing a video clip on the YouTube channel of MDD Records for the first time. The album is available as a jewel case in stores and, as a limited DigiPak with alternative artwork in a premium aluminium box, exclusively from the band and the MDD mailorder. Check it out!

Emo pop punk outfit Solene release new EP ‘Sold-Out Season’!

Pop punk band Solene is back with an exciting release that promises to win fans over with their new songs. Entitled ‘Sold-Out Season’, the EP presents a deeper and more melancholy perspective, contrasting with the energetic sound of their previous works. The quartet also released the video for ‘P.S. You Saved My Life’, the track is part of the new EP.

Unlike the positive, upbeat style of their previous EP, ‘Available To Fall,’ ‘Sold-Out Season’ brings out the band’s B-side, exploring more emotional and reflective themes.
