U.S. death/thrashers GADGETS SONS sign with Wormholedeath & announce ‘Gadgets Sons’ album!

Tulsa based Death /Thrash Metal band GADGETS SONS have signed with Wormholedeath a licensing deal for their self titled album “Gadgets Sons”, due for release on April 22nd, 2022.

GADGETS SONS is a two piece band from Tulsa, Oklahoma that incorporates a unique blend of death, groove, and thrash metal showcasing scorching vocals and searing solos cascading over brutally punishing rhythms. Garnering attention for their earthshaking live performances the band continues to carve out a name for themselves while offering a distinctive listening experience.

Melodic hardcore punks Phantom Bay released new single off their forthcoming album!

Ahead of the release of their first album Phantom Bay which will be out April 22nd, the band shares “Trembling World”. 

“Trembling World” is a song about grappling with current world events, watching the world as it declines, and feeling helpless about it. Writing the song was tough, as it combines political themes with personal anecdotes, which we find is a balancing act, if you want to make it sound earnest and authentic.” – ¨Phantom Bay

Bremen-based band Phantom Bay pairs hardcore punk with melodic hooks. Formed in spring 2020 by Michael Hanser (vocals, guitar), Laurin Rutgers (bass), and Yannic Arens (drums), the band is set to release their debut self-titled LP in early 2022 via Krod Records. Members of Phantom Bay were previously active in New Native, the Deadnotes, and Casually Dressed.

Dutch psychedelic blackmetal project Teitan releases an epic standalone track called ‘Uni-Versum’

‘Uni-Versum’ could be translated to “one-song”. One psychedelic musical experiment, one song.

Known for a modern and psychotic style of black metal, the Dutch artist Devi Hisgen teams up with his Cthuluminati bandmate Rami Wohl to create an epic seven minute track for Teitan to be released Friday the 25th of March.

The song is about unity. Melting together a lot of different musical and lyrical themes, from storytelling to deep philosophy. This song is put together in a way that could be seen as an entire album poured into a small mold.

This is the second time Teitan releases a standalone track. The reason behind this is that making music is a creative and fluid process and although writing albums is what it’s still about for Teitan, everything usually follows some kind of path. The evolution of Teitan should feel like a logical pattern, but weird deviations are more than welcome to sort of decorate the path that Teitan follows.
