Dunja Knebl & Roko Margeta – Ked som ishol – novi single i video su tu!

Nakon prvog singla “Slavuj, tico mala” (pjesme iz Hrvatske), rusinska pjesma “Ked som
ishol” ovog dvojca veliko je iznenađenje u odnosu na prethodne obrade: Roko ne samo da
svira, nego i pjeva s Dunjom! Uz Dunjin indijski harmonij, u Rokovoj izvedbi čuju se egzotična, prastara ney frula, tapan, frame drum, male udaraljke. Rezultat je snažna i neobična interpretacija koja je istovremeno i arhaična i suvremena.

Pjesmu su obradili isključivo na temelju nota i teksta iz jedne od slabo poznatih zbirki našeg poznatog etnomuzikologa, doktora Vinka Žganca, objavljeno 1946. u vlastitom izdanju pod nazivom “Pjesme jugoslavenskih Rusina”. Premda je pjesma stara najmanje stotinjak godina, poruka je svevremena: “Ako sam ništa ne sadiš, nemaš pravo ubirati (tuđe) plodove!”

“Songbook Songs”, drugi zajednički album Dunje i Roka (Dunjin 21.), autobiografsko je
putovanje kroz Dunjin život kojim su je vodile narodne tradicijske pjesme iz knjiga – pjesmarica raznih zemalja (Engleske, SAD-a, Rusije, Bjelorusije, Ukrajine, Slovačke, Indonezije, Hrvatske). Pjesma “Ked som ishol” među prvima je na tome putovanju, od ukupno 14 pjesama -“postaja”.

Album je snimio, miksao i producirao Dinko Čvorić Doringo koji je i autor spotova i fotografija, a Biljana Knebl autorica je vizuala pojedinih pjesama i oblikovanja albuma.

Fearout released a second single and music video from their debut album!

Finnish Helsinki based metal band Fearout is set to release their debut album Bleedthrough on November 5th 2021 via Inverse Records. The band released their second single Point Blank Range today with music video.

Singer Justus Latvala comments:
“Point Blank Range is a little bit older song. I think I sent the first demo to the band in 2015. Then we spent five years trying to get lead vocal melodies right. We always thought that the song contained good riffs and rhythms and it had potential, but I never really nailed the vocals until last December.Point Blank Range was the first song that we mixed for the album and we spent quite some time to get the guitar sound right. And actually, re-recorded all the guitars four or five times because we weren’t satisfied with the sound.The song deals with the consequences of the choices that we make. It raises the question that if you had a chance, would you make the same choices and do the same mistakes all over again. Which one is more important: the journey or the destination?”

Biography:
Fearout are a four-piece Finnish Hard Rock/Metal/Punk/Stoner band from Helsinki. The band was founded in 2014 by Arg Kinnunen (Guitar) & Justus Latvala (Vocals). Current line-up was stabilized when Topi Lajunen (Drums) joined band in 2016 and Minttu Minkkinen (Bass) in 2018. Fearout fuses filthy stoner guitars and noisy punk rock aggression with seductive melodies and provide energetic, volatile and sometimes literally bone crushing live performances. Fearout recorded their debut album Bleedthrough 2020-2021 and the album will be released in autumn 2021 by Inverse Records.

Finnish melodic heavy metal band Renegade Angel released a new single and music video Damnation via Inverse Records. This single features Tim “Ripper” Owens (ex-Judas Priest, ex-Iced Earth) on vocals.

Band’s mastermind Jani Pöysä comments:
“I think we managed to bring the best aspects of our previous songs and create a masterpiece for us. The song has even more variation and a larger production than the prior songs. The riffs and hooks are strong, but there are so many awesome layers of keys, piano, vocal harmonies as well as guitar- and bass fills that take it to another level! I am proud of how everybody did such an amazing job and perfected with the tiniest details and managed to make the song as amazing as it was meant to be.”

BIOGRAPHY:
Renegade Angel is a melodic heavy metal project run by Jani Pöysä. Acknowledging his limits to performing and recording he searched for the best musicians that would be able to implement his vision for this project. There is a difference in style between the songs, but have catchy riffs, strong sing-along choruses, amazing solos, and awesome guitar harmonies. Alejandro Fernandez (Trescent) is the lead singer, synth player, occasional guitarist and producer on every track and has also helped developing musical ideas to their perfection. Lukky Sparxx (Guitars/Exxocet) has had a key role in developing these ideas into the best songs they could be. We’ve been featured on the biggest music publications and national radio in both Finland and Sweden but got broad support all over the world. The reception has been amazing and we’ve even gotten huge names such as Tim “Ripper” Owens sing on our songs and recommend our music. Lyrical themes revolve around the realities of a dystopian harsh world and the importance to stand up for yourself and what’s right. We certainly got grand visions and great ideas for new songs and have some great legends that could play and sing with us. If you like this band project, then please share our songs on your playlists and social media and consider buying our merchandise. We run this for the love of music – but earning a few dollars would certainly help us produce a lot more music.
