(recenzija) Archgoat – Worship the Eternal Darkness (Debemur Morti)

Finska ima manju, možda manje razvikanu black metal scenu od norveške ili švedske scene, ali zato ima underground odlične bendove i projekte, koji samo čekaju otkrivanje i slušanje. Archgoat su jedni od najpoznatijih izdanaka te scene, jer su uz manje pauze na sceni od 1989. Nedavno su izdali novi album i evo, taj album stigao i u moj dvorac i moje zvučnike, da ga raspalim čim jače i glasnije. Album sadrži intro i devet pjesama. Archgoat prže svoj death black metal, za moj ukus bliži death nego black metalu, jako mračne atmosfere i old school satanic i anti kršćanskim tekstovima pjesama, himni kao što su Heavens Ablaze, All Christianity Ends ili In Extremis Nazarene. Ono što se meni sviđa kod ovog benda je da postoje ispod svega punk hardcore korijeni muzike, osamdesete hardcore punk i ona old school vibra bez simfo i inih pizdarija, samo blast, oštri i hladni rifovi i peglaj. Vokali su guturalni, kao što sam rekao više naginju death metalu od blacka. Tu i tamo ispod sve brutalnosti, čuje se i poneka melankolija melodije, tako svojstvena Fincima i njihovoj Sisu filozofiji. Osim blastova ima i sporijih kotrljajućih atmosferičnih dijelova, potkrijepljenih synth melodijama u pozadini koji daju dodatan mračniji prizvuk. Također ima jedna opaka thrash metal solaža, atipična za ovaj bend. Tko voli Archgoat voljeti će i ovaj album.

Mburns imaju novi spot s predstojećeg novog albuma!

Mburns predstavljaju spot za novi single ”Bystander“, drugi sa nadolazećeg albuma koji bend planira predstaviti u bliskoj budućnosti.

Spot je nastao u produkciji benda, za viziju je zaslužan bubnjar Igor Klanfar dok se u ulozi snimatelja i montažera spota još jednom našao gitarist Luka Filipan.

Ovim putem bend se zahvaljuje svima koji su pomogli u ostvarivanju ovog projekta, na prvom mjestu Mateo Antić i Olympic Fitness Rijeka na udijeljenom prostoru. Posebno hvala na podršci svima koji prate i slušaju.

Single je snimao i producirao Igor Klanfar dok je za mix i master bio zadužen Josip Pilipić (Silversound Studio).

Welsh thrash metal band, Madicide, releases single ‘Death March’!

Back after their five-year hiatus, Thrash Metal band, Madicide are announcing their return to the scene with a new version of their previous release, ‘Death March’.The track features the weight, speed and energy of metal combined with oldschool death metal references, with strong influences from the classic bands of the genre with their amazing riffs, dirty sound and marked beat.


‘Death March’ was produced and mixed at Boneyard Studios in Neath. This is the Bataan Death March that took place during World War II. The band formed by Ceri Roberts (guitar and vocals), Josh Bevan (Bass), Ian Woolfe (guitar) and Tim Roberts (drums) are working on new material for the first time in 5 years!


Opening with its signature chugging chords and simple, heavy riffs, Madicide takes us back to the Heavy Metal era of the early ’80s from the moment the track began. Avoiding the overproduction and unnecessary technical showboating seen all too often in today’s market, ‘Death March’ instead opts to stay true to classical metal’s values – prioritizing sound over anything else.


‘Death March’ is set to win fans everywhere – catapulting Madicide into the spotlight for their next album. From Thrash’s heavy dose of nostalgia to the punk-inspired sense of angst as they chant the sinister line “Death March Until You Die,” the single perfectly conveys the same passion and raw energy seen in Metallica’s Kill ‘Em All and the legendary release of Motorhead, Ace Of Spades.
