“Feast for the Worms” is the new video single from Spanish death metal band UNDEAD, taken from their album “Putrefactio” released in May 2023. The song delves into the inevitability of death, regardless of one’s status or wealth, emphasizing the universal fate of decay and consumption by worms. The video, shot in the iconic Sad Hill Cemetery in Burgos, Spain, known from Sergio Leone’s film “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,” reflects the band’s passion for classic movies and adds a profound visual layer to the song’s theme.

Formed in 2015, UNDEAD quickly established themselves in the death metal scene with their EPs “BLOOD ENEMY” (2015) and “REDEMPTION” (2016). Their debut album “EXISTENTIAL HORROR” in 2019 received international acclaim and was followed by intense live performances post-pandemic. In 2023, they continued their dark journey with “PUTREFACTIO,” an album that delves into the themes of decay and transformation, featuring 10 tracks of pure Death Metal, mixed and mastered by Dan Swanö at Unisound and released by Redefining Darkness Records. UNDEAD is committed to spreading their message of putrefaction and aims for global domination through their music.

ALL BANDS CONFIRMED: Dortmund Deathfest Announces Complete Lineup for 2023

Dortmund Deathfest, the ultimate death metal event of 2023, has announced its complete lineup for the festival’s first edition. Mike Heinemann and Lukas Swiaczny, the festival’s organizers, have confirmed 22 bands set to perform across two stages at the Junkyard Club, promising a feast for metalheads from all over the world.
 

The Dortmund Deathfest will take place on August 4th and 5th, 2023 at the Junkyard Club in Dortmund, Germany. Single-day tickets will be available in April, while weekend tickets are already available at https://www.deinetickets.de/shop/dd23/de/start.
 

The festival’s main stage is located outdoors and will feature some of the biggest names in death metal, including Kataklysm, Deicide, I am Morbid, Bloodbath and Krisiun who are set to deliver bone-crushing performances that will leave the audience begging for more. The second stage, located indoors, will showcase some of the best up-and-coming talent in the genre, with bands such as Baest, Gutalax, Brand of Sacrifice, Stillbirth and Coffin Feeder among the acts scheduled to perform.
