Singer and songwriter Jake Desrochers says, “When we started the band there was no social media. We didn’t feel the rush of the instant gratification. I felt compelled to write lyrics about the impulsive reaction to the constant barrage of other peoples thoughts, feelings and ideas. Everybody has a great reason to post about how awesome their lives are. Underneath it all we all suffer the same, everybody requires the same love and human connection.”

Formed in 1996 and reborn in 2016, the band consists of Luke Pabich (Good Riddance), Jake Desrochers (Lonely Kings), Jim Miner (Death By Stereo),Tom Kennedy (Fury 66) and Anthony Garay (Ghost Parade).

COERCION is a heavy, driving, angst ridden rock band with punk rock undertones. Powerful, expressive, engaging and relatable to anyone who likes hard edged, intoxicating music.

Bird Attack Records has launched pre-orders for Coercion’s new album ‘Veritas.’

COERCION is a heavy, driving, angst ridden rock band with punk rock undertones. Powerful, expressive, engaging and relatable to anyone who likes hard edged, intoxicating music. The band features members of Good Riddance, The Lonely Kings, Death By Stereo, Fury 66 and Ghost Parade.

With 4 decades of musical influences ranging from Black Sabbath, Metallica and Killing Joke to punk rock icons TSOL, Agent Orange and Bad Religion, COERCION originally formed in 1996, and then reformed in 2016, releasing a 4 song E.P. titled “Exit Wounds” in July of that year.

In 2017 the band recruited Jim Miner (Death by Stereo/lead guitar) and Anthony Garay (Ghost Parade/drums) and have just finished recording a new album titled “Veritas” due out December 7, 2018 on Bird Attack Records.

Hit the Switch is a Southern California melodic, thrash, punk band formed in 2003 by Matt Hawks and Jerry Fenn. The band signed to Nitro Records and released “Domestic Tranquillity And Social Justice” in 2006. With multiple tours in the U.S. and Europe, and a self-released full-length titled “Observing Infinities” in 2009, the band went on to release a cover of Pink Floyd’s “Welcome To The Machine” and single track “Retroactive” in 2011. After a 7 year stretch, the band have returned with “Entropic” to be released on Bird Attack Records September 25th, 2018 on digital/vinyl.
