Eldprov sign with Grind to Death Records!
Today I am pleased to announce the signing of Swedish melodic death/black/thrash metal from Sweden Eldprov.
Eldprov started in 2019 and released their first single “Until Nightfall” which quickly got a lot of listeners and the band even self-released it on a 100 copies cardsleeve cd that garnered a lot of interest in the band instantly. They released a new single titled “Hunt” the year after and already the band knew they got a formula going that was going home, as listeners couldn’t get enough and were screaming for a debut album to come. The time is soon here as Eldprov’s debut album Rift is soon upon us, featuring guest artists such as Heljarmadr (Dark Funeral, Grá, ex-Domgård), Jacob Björnfot (Kvaen), Johannes Axeman (ex- Wolf, ex-Decameron) and more. The album will be released in Q3 2022 on CD format via Grind to Death Records and is sure to come out with a bang.

(review) Various – A tribute to Death
Chuck Schuldiner did so much for extreme metal scene in his short life before he unfortunately passed away. But, his work with Death and Control Denied will never be forgotten in hearts, minds and ears of metal fans throughout the world, being one of pioneers of death metal scene back in the eighties and nineties with his progressive melodic death metal being so unique, so special and beautiful. I usually don´t like to review compilations but this one is a real who is who and fine piece of record in one place. From Mayhem, Sepultura, Epica, Acheron, Sinister, Atrocity, Desaster, Neurosis….this is a heartfelt and warm tribute to one of the metal´s forever legends. List of the songs is a probably Death´s greatest hits list and I wish personally that some songs were on it that they didn´t include but in all, because some of the songs are represented twice with different band, but no matter. This is an impressive tribute with impressive line-up.

(review) Wrath Of The Nebula – The Ruthless Leviathan
Wrath Of The Nebula are hailing from France and being relatively new band in the scene, formed in 2018, but its members are in no way new, having played in so many bands and projects of extreme music scene in France and abroad. Anyway, this is the debut full length opus of this entity, and it contains intro plus eleven songs. Wrath Of The Nebula play fantastic mixture of melodic death metal with lots of sympho parts involving keyboards and atmospheric parts, but also thrash and fast parts with aggression giving more way and expression to melody with awesome vocals bordering from growling, screams to superb harsh melodic and clean vocals fitting perfectly to the songs. Musicianship is phenomenal and the whole vibe of the record takes me to some other frightening yet eye opening dimension. Theme of the lyrics is more existential, space and continuum oriented, from ancient cultures to aliens and space. Songs like DNA Of The Gods(watch the video), When Galaxies Collide or Fractal Dimensions are my personal favorites but listen because with every listening you will find something more and interesting and that is the true beauty and relevance of this opus.
