(review) FUCK You DRACU-FUCK OFF AND DRACU

a2434668036_10

Nice to see some bands from the east of Europe joining the worldwide underground network of nice bands, individuals, promoters, zines…FUCK You DRACU are from Bucharest, Romania and this is their new record. Here we get seven songs of rawer hardcore punk with lots of garage punk influences. All the song titles and lyrics are in Romanian langauge, so I don`t really understand what they are singing about, but the music is full of energy, with some really catchy and anthemic songs like for example Bataie Pe Alee, with streetpunk pure vibe. The vocals are shouted but also fit to the more melodic parts of guitar work. The drumming is fast and energetic and I would like very much to check these guys live. Other songs are also good, it is nice to hear some other bands, from other countries and discover new friends and new music.

(review) Blast Bomb-Live & Explosive in the UK(Undead Artists Records)

Live & Explosive Front

Blast Bomb were already featured on the pages of this zine. This Hamburg based band toured UK and they got pretty great live recording, so why the hell not release it as live record.

This record contains 8 songs which represent this band in full picture as it is, raw, melodic and with all the punk energy, not polished in studio and not with re-recorded crowd cheering as some bands do nowadays. This is rock n roll energy, punk and not giving a fuck about world. The music of Blast Bomb is a mixture of punkrock, horrorpunk and garage punk influences in the structures of the songs, but basically it is all dirty rock n roll for night creatures out there. If you never witnessed this band live, I know I didn`t, this record is fine example how this one sounds live. Recommended songs: Born To Lose, Burn History.

The Dukes of Bordello

Our friends at Undead Artists Records always deliver great releases. This time it is new The Dukes Of Bordello e.p. for your ears listening pleasure. The new e.p. contains three songs plus one live version. The music of this band borders somewhere between ferocious garage punk, horrorpunk with some psychobilly elements here and there thrown in for good measure. Think I´m Turning Psyco, Strychnine are sure to become your favorites for a long time. Also, Won˙t You Make Up Your Mind and great live version of All In The Name are superb listening pleasure in these hard times without gigs.
