(record review)Scarboro-Wolves on the radio(WTF records)

We already featured Scarboro in an recent interview on the pages of this zine. Now is the time for me to listen and review their new record out on WTF records for this zine.

SCARBORO HR

Scarboro are from Brooklyn, New York, but apart from the other bands on the NYHC scene, this band is leaning more towards punkrock side of things. This record contains 5 songs. When you listen to this band, you have to take the raw and untamed energy of Black Flag, emotional and larger than life melody of Descendents, mix it with both feet standing firmly inside New York hardcore history and legacy and you get the music of this band. I love this record. Of course, everyone of us always finds some of song favorites on the records we listen, so mine are the title song and Another Day. The vocals are just right, melodic but enough harsh to pass as hardcore vocals and the musicianship and the sound of the record is in my opinion great. I would like very much to hear the full length record in the future. Awesome!

8,5/10

(news-new video-hardcore)ALL MY MEMORIES Video premiere on Hardcore Worldwide YouTube Channel!

f2c8354b-3422-43a9-9d2d-21649e9b6d54

A few days after releasing their new full-length effort for CD & digital on Bandcamp and the main legal platforms (iTunes, Spotify, Deezer…), French modern-metallers All My Memories just shared an official music video for the title-track of ‘UMWELT’ with the courtesy of Hardcore Worldwide..

In addition to this new video, the album is still available for free streaming on Bandcamp.

Inspired by the biggest names of Hardcore and Metal movements, the band was formed in 2011. By working and meeting new people, All My Memories have managed to forge its own identity and release a first E.P.

‘Artefact’ in 2012 and their first album ‘Legacy’ in 2013, showing their desire to go further and to invest that energy into a bigger project, somewhere between hardcore metal, metalcore and deathcore.

The band also played with the biggest names of French and International metal stage like Kreator, Moonspell, Black Bomb A, Mass Hysteria, Kreator, Loudblast or The Arrs but after some line-up changings, they took the time to work on new stuff building a new spirit into the band, before to record a secon album.

The desire to impose them on the growing French Metalcore stage transforms each show into a playground, their complicity on stage and their band vision gives them a true uniqueness that they want to take advantage of in the coming years.
For fans of Texas In July, Parkway Drive, Thy Art Is Murder, Breakdown Of Sanity..
