Time for some Southern California skatecore SINCE WE WERE KIDS! to grace the pages of this webzine. There are 16 songs on this beauty and it is all fast skate hardcore punk with angry, shouted, but sometimes melodic vocals. This is old school par excellence. The musicianship is tight and the record as a whole is an energetic bomb in itself. This is hardcore like we were used since we were kids hehe. The songs are short but hit straightforward in your head and melt your face off with their energy and blistering guitars, topped with fast drumming and angry vocals. I tried to find and name some personal favorites, but the record as one undivided whole is superb, so you will find your own favorites, because I love this record, every song from beginning of ‘Counterfeit’ through all those short bombs to ‘Intense Energy’ and ‘Winner’s Life’. So, I guess I still named some of the favorites on this record. Superb, my recommendation,
Wasserdicht su se vratili nakon mnogo godina i snimili novi album. Ovo je teaser kvazi EP koji sadrži četiri pjesme i mogu reči da su odlične. Snimano je u Studiu Depth i produkcija je odlična, lagano prljava, ali taman kako treba biti. Sve četiri pjesme su na slovenskom jeziku, a muzika je prljavi hardcore punk miksan s blast beatovima kao u ‘Sit sem vas’ koja me jako podsjetila na Impaled Nazarene, uglavnom po mjuzi, Markovi vokali su onako prljavi, ali nije growl i nije scream tako da se razumije o čemu pjeva uglavnom pogotovo za nas koji razumijemo slovenski. Moj osobni favorit na ovom kratkom teaseru su dvije pjesme, a to su ‘Pred nevihto’ i ‘Vse ostaja isto’. Jedva čekam cijeli album da izađe, zvati će se ‘Prihajamo v miru’, jer ovo je više nego odličan povratak ovog legendarnog slovenskog benda tu iz našeg susjedstva. Tekstovi su angažirani, ali onako iz osobnog kuta. Jedva čekam također da ih vidim/slušam opet uživo, jer sam ziher da novi materijal pršti energijom još više live nego je na ovom albumu. Savršen miks epske gitare, prljavog hardcore punka i malo death metal utjecaja i d-beata. Obavezno poslušati!
