VELKHANOS the Spanish Melodic Death/Black metal band has just released the new single/video ‘Gunpowder’.
‘Gunpowder‘ is the first single of the upcoming album ‘The Vampire Of Alva Pt.1 – Gunpowder’.
Their first album ‘The Wrath’ was released in 2020.
The band will play in April at Ressurreicao Do Metal Festival in Portugal.

Švedski Unanimated su legende scene, pošto njihovi počeci sežu u davnu 1988.godinu, a sa prekidom su dostigli ovaj četvrti dugosvirajući album, prvi u 12 godina. Članovi benda su dugogodišnji borci sa scene, koji su svirali ili sviraju u bendovima kao što su Dismember, General Surgery, Desultory, Unleashed, Carbonized i još nekim legendarnim bendovima švedske death metal scene. Ovdje se radi o 12 odličnih melodičnih black death metal pjesama, onako kako švedski bendovi mogu napraviti, miks Gothenburg melodic death metala i black metal blastova i agresije daju catchy, a mračne pjesme pune energije. Vokal je onako blackerski, ali poprilično se razumije što pjeva, pa je to dodatan plus ovom odličnom bendu i albumu. Pjesme kao što su As the Night Takes Us, The Devil Rides Out i The Golden Dawn of Murder su moji osobni favoriti, a ti pronađi svoje.

Today´s featured band is Texas based melodic black death metal entity called Sinira. It has been active in the scene since 2016 and is a brainchild of one Knell who handles all the instruments and vocals. Northern Silence Productions released debut full length album and it contains eight songs in just about less than one hour duration. I love melodic black death metal in the vein of Gothenburg styled bands like Dissection, Gates of Ishtar, Dawn and similar European acts meaning aggressive and fast paced black death metal with superb guitar melodies and hooks, dark and melancholic, also epic vibe to the songs and lyrics that are personal yet also in your face in a way if you read between the lines. This album was pure energy bomb when I first listened to it and I gladly return to music of Sinira ever so often because it is a lesson how to write and play perfect album with no fillers, only dark energy, cold yet warming to your old blackened metal heart. My personal favorites are: Gardens of Pestilence, Tear Ladened Skies and Our Final Nightfall. Epic album.
